  1. central mass here. been counting down the days till march 22, organizing, re-organizing, then re-re-organizing all my tackle and just buying as much gear as i can over these long cold months. big ice derby this saturday, all public waters in central mass are open for the tourney as long as you get your catch to a weigh-in station before the end of the tourney. plus they draw a name every 5 minutes for cash prizes throughout the whole day. should be good times.
  2. Go skiing and get p'd off at all the snowboarders ruining the slopes > aw c'mon now, that's not true at all. everyone knows it's skiers that ruin the slopes rockin the "pizza wedge" and other rad techniques. ;D i kid, i kid... but seriously, i can't stand the whole "skiers vs. snowboarders" thing that's been going on since i started riding 12+ years ago. a lot of my friends ski, a lot ride, and i have just as good a time with the skiers as i do with the boarders.
  3. definitely a cool show with lots of good underwater shots.
  4. if other people will be getting there on saturday then i'll book my flight for that morning so that i arrive during the afternoon/early evening. i've got a 3+ hour drive from atlanta to guntersville after flying in from boston which i'll have to plan around, but if other people will be there saturday then so will i. i'm still looking for someone to share room costs with if anyone's interested.
  5. i haven't watched since it was called the wwf. it's never been the same since the days of the macho man, roddy piper, jake the snake, hulk hogan (before he turned evil, then good, then evil, then good, no wait he's really evil pretending to be good, oh no, he's actually good, now he's bad...), the junkyard dog, andre the giant, THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR!, etc. it's nothing more than a soap opera for dude's now. might as well be called "as the world wrestling federation turns..." stone cold was pretty rad though, drinkin beer and smashin stuff all the time. he was fun to watch.
  6. x2 fo' sho'! but if that were the case, tony romo would have to get +20, too.
  7. and a 68.9 completion percentage for passes thrown during the regular season... aw hell, just click the link... http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?archive=false&conference=null&statisticCategory=PASSING&season=2007&seasonType=REG&experience=null&tabSeq=0&qualified=true&Submit=Find
  8. you forgot his measley 3 super bowl wins...
  9. VIVA LA GUNTERSVILLE!!!!
  10. haha! in 10 years i bet he'll be happy that's been passed around the 'net. send him up to MA when he's done in RI, will ya?
  11. like everyone else said, it's as important as you want it to be. if you've already got the rod that the reel will be going on, bring it in to the store and try out the different reels you're looking at for that rod. all the numbers can look good on paper but until you've got the setup in your hand and can feel the balance of it you're really not going to know if you like it or not. that advice has been passed along on this site quite a bit and i can't agree more. if you're looking for a light 8# reel, check out the pflueger supreme 8030 or 8035. they go for around $100 but you can find them cheap on ebay or other online tackle shops.
  12. mitchell reels - i bought a 300XGe last year, didn't even spool it with line before i took it back and returned it for a pflueger president about 2 hours later. the mitchell had a nice metal-on-metal grinding noise that just didn't appeal to me. could have been just that one, but i'm not about to waste my money to find out if all of them do it. berkley vanish - terrible for knots. absolutely terrible. used it for about a week, took RW's advice on the yo-zuri and haven't looked back. spiderwire braid - i only use power pro now. spiderwire can EABOD.
  13. who's to say they have? speculate all you want, we'll keep letting our record do the talking.
  14. ha, that works, too.
  15. i'll assume any files you downloaded have been unzipped if necessary. open "my computer" and find the folder named "windows", open that and find the folder named "fonts", open that and just drag and drop the actual font file into that folder. that should do you fine. the fonts might not show up in word unless you restart the computer.
  16. gimme a second to remember and i'll get back to you...
  17. which has been illustrated by their last 17 straight wins. that's STRAIGHT wins. as in "unbeaten".
  18. there's a fine line between "cocky" and "confident", my friend.
  19. pflueger got my vote. haven't tried much else though so it's a little biased.
  20. 19-0 here we come. i hate to say the giants don't stand a chance against the pats, but... well, they don't stand a chance against the pats. ;D
  21. ;D you crack me up mike haha, that gif is EXACTLY what i had in mind when i posted that! LBH, you're going so you can get your butt posted in the "bootie" section, c'mon admit it.... ;D
  22. just watched it the other night. i agree about jessica alba, she's smokin.
