Shelby Farms....sucks...no wait, SUCKS. They stock the lakes with anything and everything and are just horribly managed. In my experience the lakes only produce about a half million 4 inch crappie per trip. Theres a few little lakes around town if your just a bank fisherman. One that I used to fish alot before I got a boat is at the corner of Whitten and Stage (hwy 64) before they turned it into a park.

Man I sure am glad we don't have croc's around where I fish, if we did I don't think I would fish....I couldn't imagine sticking my rod down into the water trying to get unhung, or liping a fish from the water if there was even the slightest chance a croc could be down there.

when the fall begin's to roll in the shad will go up into the creek's, jerkbait's will be a good thing to try out since they replicate this. then again as we all know, sometimes what should work, doesn't....so don't be afraid to toss something else at them or try out away from the creek's if they arent working, but creek's with a jerkbait is what i would try

Depending on how much it leak's, a bucket and not going too far from the bank may be your best bet. And yes I have seen my fair share of Amish people.

That is the same thing I was wondering???? :-? I've been messing around with adobe photoshop. It's a fun program, but very addictive. I took a picture of a dude who was caught huffing spraypaint, then stuck his face on my body. Before After LOL is anyone else thinking "who would do this??" Skillet, where were you fishing? I prefer the horny toad to the ribbit but I use both, ive just had better luck on the horny toad it seem's like.

The only one I have really played is Amtex's "gone fishing", it was allright and you can fish alot of different lures. It's abandonware now so you can look around an find it o the internet...infact, PM sent.

I don't know much at all about this, the ony place I jugged fish at before one place was as good as the other. My only advice is if there is any current then toss it near that, use the stinkiest stuff you can find, and if your really lost then put em out in different spot's so u can locate atleast a few.

I fish a little smaller alt than most people, fish are going to bite most every lure in the head. 2 alt or 3 alt almost alway's on texas rigged worms.

x2. I also put a bead in front of the hook, not sure if it keeps weeds off a little bit more but bead's are cheap enough to not worry about it.

zoom speed craw work's awesome, when i'm texas rigging its what i use 90% of the time, fish it exactly like a worm, the fish doesn't care

white bass or stripe bass?

As a boater, I normally through towards the bank if I am bank fishing. If not bank fishing then hold the boat going into the wind and try throwing something heavy so you don't backlash, makes controlling the boat much easier. As a nonboater then you don't have much control where you cast, you just sorta cast out whereever there is water, but if given the opportunity, through away from the wind, onto the wind blown bank, alot more control of your lure that way and tighter line if your worm fishing.

Whichever side the fish are on. I don't pay much attention to sunshine or shade, I just go to my normal hole's. I pay alot more attention to which direction the wind's blowing.

All the friggin time....they have feeding behavior's very much like the bass, I HATE them tho, tear up a bait like nothing else.

Try looking on craigslist for some decent deal's. I was very surprised to find out how many boat's were for sale on it.

LOL am I the only one that did a double take on this picture? Where did the bass's tail go?! And better question...is that a pice of tape where his tail was?
