Agreed. Just remember the grass has many openings and it is not as thick under the cap as many would think.

Nitroman, Try moving out and fishing the outer areas of the grass where it becomes scattered. All lakes will have an outside grassline determined by depth and water clarity. Try to fish the outer areas with the CR and you will not have such a problem. A lot of times the outer, scattered areas get less fishing pressure and generally hold larger bass. Just watch your depth finder as you move out and you will clearly see the area where the grass stops growing. Do a little searching and you will notice the smaller clumps that the area will hold. Good luck.

Sorry you have had the rotten luck. I use a lot of their products and could not be happier. I abuse the heck out of them and just like a Timax they come back for more. for you younger guys a Timax is a watch.

The "Real" cost of boat ownership
Wish I could get five years on a set of tires. More like two for me and the hubs are repacked every six months, bearings and races replaced every eighteen months. Never, ever lost a hub on the road by the way. Good post
