Catch and Release?
Let me get this straight. You got mad because someone caught a fish larger than any you ever caught. then he left with it. Grow up! C & R can be just as detrimental as keeping fish.

Lake Sheldon (Texas)
They certainly do not. The lake up until three years ago was closed to boat traffic form around mid October or November until around the 15th of April.

76th day and counting
Still no rain. We have a shot today...Maybe. Cloudy and it looks like today could be the day. This just sucks. Parts of houston have had downpours the last couple of days, but the thunder and lightening just goes on by. as I write this I can hear thunder so maybe the rain gods will finally smile on us.

river fishing
I have caught them on worms, crank baits, spinnerbaits, and jigs. the largest 31 lbs, was caught in Veech Bay on Sam Rayburn back in 82 on a 1/4 oz trap chrome/blueback. Needless to say if would not fit the livewell so I gave it to a trotliner fishing not far away. You just never know until you see the slime creeping up your mono.

Toledo Bend gives up a 14.96 Saturday
Catt GPS cordinates would be nice... Was he close to "THE SPOT"?

Ok people we need input!
Personally I like the red myself. My wife and most everyone else thinks the white though. One change we did today was take the lightening off the top of the flag. Didn't want anyone thinking I was defacing it. Will still have the lightening strikes, but they will run under the flag instead of over the top of it.

Re: Getting Started...
Join a club. Lots of these guys are downright sticks. You will learn more in two years than anything else you could do. fish with as many members as possible.

New World Record Bass caught in Japan
Wonder if they ate it?
-
Micheal Vick (
They were probably just toys for his posse.
-
Why don't the pros use them?
Personally I think just about any bass boat with a 250 or higher engine on it would be considered a high performance rig. JMO

Ok people we need input!
If Skeeter were paying for all of this I would put any color anywhere.

Should I worry about my gear rusting?
moisture is what causes the rust. If you let the compartments stay dry and aired out from time to time they should be fine
-
Ok people we need input!
Probably will be very close to this size. Again, we are under the rules that Skeeter sets up and we have to abide by them.

Ok people we need input!
Thanks catt, just remember the lettering has not been centered and the product copywrite logos have not been removed. We will clean all that up before we print out the wrap. Jack

Boat Wrapping
We did the proofs yesterday and I am undecided as to what color the Skeeter logo should be. Sent you an PM to get your email address to send the proofs to you. Just remember the lettering is not centered and the copywrite logos have not been removed from the logos. Feel free to post the pics here so I can get input on the color choices.

Hook under the fingernail today.
This thread is worthless without pics. Then we all can cringe. Seriously, hope you are ok. Never funny when a hook and a body part are mentioned in the same sentence. Good luck

Prop Selection + motor height
I'm running a 24p Trophy on my 150 mercury, so don't be afraid to go on up. You never know until you try one. Just watch your water pressure guage if you start jacking the motor up. A dealer should let you take them out and run them before you commit to buy. At least the ones here will.

Lake Sheldon (Texas)
oh dude, your not kidding. I've never seen that much Giant Salvinia in one place. Those lily pads are freakin' CRAZY HUGE too. I actually got my chatterbait hooked around one of those lily pad stems, on 30lb. braid, and broke off. :-/ I'm not surprised. Some of the stems look like they are 2" thick. Might be able to walk on the pads.LOL.

If you could go back in time...
Failed to take the advice a guide gave me one day while we were fishing. Follow your heart and go for what's important to you. I was considering guiding and fishing as my sole occupation. My parents had the money that would have allowed me to do this, but I just could not make the decision.

PM returned

Lure Selection
If I'm reasonably sure the fish are there I will cover the water column from a couple of feet out to the 30-35' depths. Whatever allows me to efficiently fish these different depths is what I will go through.
