  1. Just messin w/ya man 8-) Best of luck
  2. Soooo Its a fancy dancy snap??? : :
  3. I used to wade a lot when I lived up north. But here everything is silty and very nasty. So ends my wading career. That and seeing a pair of lizard eyes watching you across the surface of the water from 10 ft away will do it too :
  4. This is my wake up. I havent watched the news and didnt know how bad this really was. Very sad and unfortunate......... :-[
  5. I have 2 that have been bent 2 to 3 dozen times and even darn near straightened out from using braid and they are just starting to look downright ugly but the fish keep trying to kill them.Frankly I am shocked the frames havent snapped.Excellent product!
  6. trickworm-not really burned but walking the dog. Gycb Kut tail--same thing zoom speed worm and speed craw rage craw 4 inch grubs -looks like a baby minnow running for its life
  7. I gotta squeeze mine out after every cast(spro). Some are better than others, and some just plain out sink.Wont stop me from using it though it is a killer lure. Use a litte silicone to plug the hole a little more. I found out that the hole cannot be plugged all the way as the body wont compress on the hookset when I melted mine shut with a piece of worm tailDUH!
  8. I have seen it a few times and I think the only brand was eagle claw. This "bead"didnt have a threading hole and looked to me like a piece of that silica gel stuff like they put in shoes to absorb moisture.Being eagle claw I would not doubt this to be the reason since they are the must rusting pieces of junk on the market.
  9. I use owner for just about any application I could use one on.
  10. I dont like the bead. It is supposed to keep the nose clear and plow through weeds better. I have had problems with it swinging around and catching cover, cattails, brush etc. If I want to have this effect on my frog a 1/32 screw in or 1/16(heavy slop). Also another good product for this is the reaction innovation screwd up bullet weight. This is a screw in bullet made of plastic and doesnt add any weight. It does do what it is supposed to.
  11. Fade to black sounded especially sweet. Check out the GNR sweet child of mine,it is just amazing!
  12. Amen brother! Manatee county, where I live has seen the worst of it.It has only rained 2 short times since February. All the water here is stagnant, the fish just downright stink, and if doesnt improve I expect to see fish kills this year
  13. It dont hurt regular plastics but... If your talkin GYCB make sure the senko is dry or just put it in another bag. The moisture will add to the never ending problem of the baits becoming mushy as will excessive heat. Senkos are soft enough but when they get mushy they seem to fall right off the hook like butter. Im sure most people know, but for those who dont. After you use a texas rig senko save it aside for wacky.
  14. Too Humerous! ;D
  15. We are all just trying to find a way to beat the monkey by any means possible. This is a war which cannot be won.
  16. Very easy to walk the dog with due to the weight shifting inside. A very good lure although not my personal preference. Without getting into to much detail just put a little slack in your line and give a downward or slightly sideways twitch with your wrist, dont pull the lure with your arm or crank it, and you will see the lure come alive. After you twitch it you will find more slack in your line then you must crank around 1/2 to a full turn of the handle and twitch again.Do this once or twice and you will be able to syncronize the winding with the twitching to make a fluid motion. Tip: the amount of slack in the line can give the lure a different action and sound as does how hard and sharply you twitch it. Tip:Also experiement with speeds and pauses. You will find after you get good that there is a hundred ways to work one of these, but whatever you do keep the same rhythm and cadence throughout the retrieve. The constant beating and or pausing is what will irritate the fish many times. Tip:Keep it close to cover and weedlines.Cast down dropoff breaklines that you find on sonar.Cast across points.Use when you see fish busting bait, throw right into the rings they leave on the water. Hope this helps I am not the master at decribing things but am good at showing.
  17. Dicks, ***,another site.com,or click on the banner for our sponsor megastrike and order there. To name a few..
  18. Not bad eh? The normal price would be between 7.99 and 9.99 for each one. Good luck with your new stuff!
  19. ahhh 2 of my all most deadly favs. I also use rage, zoom, and paca craws weightless. Tubes on top of weeds in the morning or on schooling fish. When applied correctly the basic 10-12 inch worms work wonders too. Sizmic toads twitched subsurface. Zoom speed worm. Zoom magnum fluke 7 inch. My all time favorite is the GYCB 6.5 inch big dog Kut Tail.
  20. Or add a zoom "tiny"brush hog as the trailor.
  21. Cavitrons are the bomb! If you try a keyword search I am sure you will come up with a multitude of great reviews for it also.
  22. The larger profile and extra vibration this bait puts out makes it a good choice for night fishing also. Also has been said a few times on here that the owner oversize 7/0 hook is great.I swear by owner myself.
  23. X2 on the rattle trap. This one has W T F written all over it. Used to be my goto but I can't remember catching even one fish in the later part of 07 or this year yet. :-/
  24. The biggest difference in the chatterfrog I have found is it is made to run shallow and ride high in the water column. The line tie on the jighead is positioned at a diferent angle.
