I have read everything from temperature change to eating crayfish off the bottom.....

I am looking for simple patterns I guess. Bluegill, baby bass, craw, etc. Simple to me, but then, I have a hard time painting a wall in the living room.

In cold weather bass tend to slow down a bit. It's like this in the Northeast every year, but a little worse this year because of the "strange" summer. Try using a Senko, a T-rig worm, or a jig, and fish SLOW!! Good luck!

From another site: Robby Rose update: investigation 10/29/2009 another site spoke today with Texas Parks & Wildlife Dept. (TPWD) game warden Gary Collins, who's heading up the investigation of Robby Rose and an alleged cheating incident that occurred last Saturday at the Lake Ray Hubbard Bud Light Trail Big Bass Tournament. According to Collins, charges have yet to be filed against Rose, although that is TPWD's aim. Collins and other officials will meet with the district attorney tomorrow to confer. The TPWD Wildlife Code does include a regulation regarding fraud in contests and exhibitions, but it's written in such language that it might not fit the scenario of what happened Saturday. "There's also a state law for a rigged contest, so there are several different things to look at," Collins noted. "I wanted to go talk with the DA office and just review the case. They're the ones who'll have to prosecute, so before we file any cases, we're seeking some guidance from them. "There are several different (prosecution) avenues we're looking at," Collins added. "To be frank, our law in the Wildlife Code doesn't deal with this particular instance. It deals with bringing in fish (to the lake) and selling fish, which is what we had a problem with several years ago when it was written. But there is a rigged contest or exhibition law in the penal code. That's the reason I want to talk to the DA about it and determine which one of these laws (the situation) falls under." Collins told another site that Rose has been questioned several times by game wardens. There has been no admission of guilt.

Hey all... I have been looking to buy one of these reels (the 5:0.1, LH) is it still made? Have the changed the model number? I love my 201e7 and figured I'd get the same reel with different gear ratio but.....

It's a little work, but here's what I do: I go on line, pick out what I want from reels to plastics. I write down the Bass Pro SKU#, a short description, and the price. IF they have it in the store (remember the stores don't have everything they have on line) they will look it up and match the price. Go in un-prepared, and they play "Mickey the dunce" Huh, what...then it's "I'll have to call a manager", and then you flip out, and they ask you to leave, but you won't because "this is a free country" and you pay taxes... and.....OOPs...did I say that out loud!!!! AJR

Any crack etc. rubber sticking out. I would also call the help line for the manufacturer (Lowrance etc.) and tell them what's going on.

If the paperwork is in order (if any is needed), I would do it. There are a TON of boats out there for sale because of the economy, but this sounds like both of you would make out. Bartering....the wave of the future...LOL!! Good luck!! ajr
