  1. IF you do end up being an extra, wear something with a BIG BASS on it and that way we'll be able to spot you easily when the movie is released (if they'll let you wear whatever you want). Just a thought:o)

Your fish obviously had watched "Orca" way too many times:o)
  3. Happy belated birthday wishes. Hope you are feeling better soon.
  4. A hearty WELCOME to the BR Forums - the BEST bass fishing site on the Net, IMO. +3 on the jigs! Awesome and very versitile lures, especially when combined with the right trailer (jig and pig). RW's Fat Ikas are also superb as are Senkos. Looks like you're on the right path to becoming a successful bass fisherman!!
  5. Welcome to the BR Forums - the PREMIER bass fishing site on the Net, IMO. Always great to see another person become a member and join our clan. I'm sure you will love the BR Forums!
  6. Congratulations to all of you guys!! So, when does the next tournament start??
  7. Wow. Now that's one plane eating tree!! Guess the pilot didn't SEE that huge thing. Maybe he was reading the sign or talking on his cell phone.

Way to go, Carol! Congratulations on your distinguished career and well deserved retirement.
  9. I had a Malibu Mini-X and it was nice BUT not all that stable (at least not as stable as the adds led me to believe). I would not try standing in it without outriggers/stablilzers like the ones I built and installed on my NuCanoe. I fished for around 7 hours in the Mini-X and besides getting very wet, when I got out of it I could hardly walk. In fact, I had to roll out of the kayak into the water on my knees. OK, so I am a little old:o) The Mini-X is a nice, easily transportable kayak but since it's only 9' long, it isn't too fast. There is ample room in it and for someone in decent physical condition it's a good choice. IMO.
  10. Welcome to the BR Forums - the PREMIER bass fishing site on the Net, IMO! Another Cali guy, that's great!
  11. Well, our anniversary falls on a Wednesday next month and when I asked my wife if she was going to take the day off from work, she said no. I told her that I'd go fishing that day until she gets home. No problems here:o)
  12. Here's ye r, mate: Ahgagagagagaga!
  13. Check out the RED TRAILERS on Ebay. 4'x8' flatbed would work. You can probably find a cheaper one around your area. Look on Craig's List.
  14. Ah, Bait Monkey food!! Like some of the others have suggested already, just get what you want and save the rest. Have a feeling I might get one of those cards at my retirement party in a few weeks:o)

Welcome to the BR Forums - the PREMIER bass fishing site on the Net, IMO. What kind of boat are you looking to buy?? Post any and all questions you might want answered over on the "Bass Boating and more" forum here on BR and the great guys and gals will answer them.
  16. Welcome to the BR Forums - the BEST bass fishing site on the Net, IMO. There are a lot of tournament guys and gals on BR who will eagerly answer all your questions.
  17. Run that question by me again without the track shoes. I must have missed some critical info in your first statement:o(

Since I suffer Dain Bramage I only got the first 3 on the first 3 tries:o)
  19. NOT funny in the least bit. Both of those punks should be caught and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Then they should have to clean the body SCUM that they left off the tank glass!! Too bad some huge dude didn't "stop them" as they were running out of the store! Jerkamus Maximus!
  20. Good deal, IMO....BUT you are going to need a trailer for transporting it! A nice little 4x8 flatbed that you can strap your new jon boat should do the trick. Hope you can also install a trailer hitch to you mini-van.
  21. So far this year I've been averaging around 1 1/2 pounders BUT that IS going to CHANGE now that I have my new H3 Freestyle float tube/mini-pontoon and ProCraft bass boat....... I hope:o)
  22. Wow, CLOSE call! Super glad to see that you're OK!!! We have them nasty critters ALL over the place out here in San Diego county and especially around the lakes I fish. I'm constantly on guard when I fish from shore (which, thank goodness, won't be happening much anymore:o) Take care and you might want to think about getting a Mongoose for a fishing companion:o)
  23. For me it's a challenge, relaxing, exciting, and most of all FUN. IF it wasn't, I probably wouldn't be so addicted to it:o) IMO.
  24. Thanks for the tips, Big-O!! Actually I've been wanting to try those weighted hooks for awhile now. Think I'll see if Wally World has some when I go to my weekly Bait Monkey feeding tomorrow:o)
  25. I don't know if a software program exists that will do what you want BUT I do know that a SOURCE for that information currently exists! You're reading it right now: the Bass Resource Forums! ) BTW: WELCOME to the BR Forums - the BEST bass fishing site on the Net, IMO!!!
