  1. The Tiger is phenomenal, but I think you folks may be forgetting some of the unbelievable putts Mr. Nicklas used to make during his tenure on the links. Tiger in his prime or Jack in his prime?? Tough choice because I really like them both, but Jack has always been my favorite. Still, Tiger kinda "grows on you" the more a person watches him. IMO:o) BTW: I seriously doubt that 'roids of any kind will help anyone sink a 65 foot putt that breaks to the left nearly 10 feet. That, my friend, takes talent, touch, countless hours of practice, and nerves of steel. The old golfing adage "Drive for show. Putt for dough" comes to mind. Again, IMO.
  2. You, Camden, and your entire family will be in my prayers!!!
  3. I voted for her as soon as I read this post. Beautiful young lady!!!
  4. Too cool, TT!! I completely FORGOT about those pegs that obviously worked well for you!! Now get out there and nail those smallies:o)
  5. A hearty WELCOME to the BR Forums - the BEST bass fishing site on the Net, IMO!
  6. TT: go to Home Depot and get a completely threaded piece of rod the same size as the bike wheels axles and ALSO get some nuts and washers. Slip the rod through the wheel hub, put a washer or two on each side and then put the nuts on but don't snug them up too tightly. Then cut the rod to a lenght that will let you strap/attach it to your pontoon's footrests. You could also use some hose clamps or rope to do that (as sgbeitz already mentioned). Hope this helps you out
  7. Here's a pic of the Vivif:
  8. The Vibra-Bat!!! When I was a kid way back in the mid 60's the Vibra-Bat was touted as the greatest lure of all time. It was supposed to catch fish via the ultrasonic vibrations that it supposedly put out in the water. I HAD to have one. I was so excited when I got my first one. It was the large version in yellow. I went with my Dad to a river to fish off a concrete bridge and on the first cast of my "wonder lure", my line tangled and the metal lure smacked the side of the bridge and broke into 2 pieces. I was so upset that I didn't fish at all that day. Well, that is a fond memory now and I have a collection of Vibra-Bats in all colors and both sizes. The only other "gimmick lure" I can remember having to have is the original Vivif, which was a French made soft rubber minnow lure with a tail that wagged back and forth over a 2 pronged downward bent hook. That lure actually was pretty cool and now Panther Martin makes a similar swimbait lure called the Vivif. Guess I'm really dating myself with those:o)
  9. Absolutely I will pray for you my friend that God will take care of your health, your family and all your needs.

I have several of the Chatterfrogs that Mr. Bait Monkey persuaded me to buy and I really like the action they have in the water. I haven't caught anything on them yet but I think it's just a matter of time(ing) until I do. They seem to have great potential, IMO:o)
  11. I voted for minnows since I've caught the most bass on them. However, the largest bass I ever caught was on a live frog, hooked through the lips and tossed out into the middle of this small farm pond. I sat there watching my line slowly move around for about 5 minutes and then it just stopped. I figured the frog had died and jerked my rod. A huge bass jumped about a foot out of the water with the frog in its mouth. I can't say how big the fish was because that was over 40 years ago and I didn't have a scale with me, but that instance was one of the most exciting fishing experiences I have ever had. Frogs just don't get much respect, IMO:o)
  12. Congratulations!! I'm sure your wife wasn't hoping for a DD PB anyway.
  13. I watched the race and personally don't THINK the horse was 100%. Either that or someone got much richer betting on the 38 to 1 longshot that did win. IMO.
  14. Definitely NOT "Catch and Release", IMO:o)
  15. Congratulations!!! I know how you feel. Looks to me like you got a great deal. Have you slept in it yet:o)
  16. I'd have the State regulatory commission check that "certain station" out and fine them if they are causing those kinds of problems. You might even have legal rights to reclaim the money you spent on the carb. Sorry to hear about your problems!!
  17. Those F22s are AWESOME aircraft and very appropriately named!

Da "Fat Lady" hasn't sung yet. Way to hang in there, Pens!!!
  19. BassChump: I sent you a PM. Please read. THANKS!!!
  20. I prefer Allstate too. Everything I own is insured with them. Isn't a Gecko somekind of new lizard bait?? Probably produce more bass than happy insurance customers:o)
  21. I agree!!! Weight and pictures should be sufficient between friends.
  22. BassChump wrote: "This truly is the best place on the net. I'm hoping somehow, someday that I can repay all the kindness I'm receiving." For me, my friend.....you already have!!!
  23. BassChump: you and your daughter will be in my prayers and I certainly hope things turn around on a more positive note for you. It's obvious that you are a STRONG man to have made it through all the tragedy that you've endured over the past several years. Fishing should be FUN and not ADD to your woes. I don't have an answer as to why you haven't caught any fish. Bass are more of a "quest" and are challenging to catch, even for the experts! Have you tried the old "tried and true" live baits like nightcrawlers, frogs, and minnows?? With those, even if you don't hook a bass, you'll undoubtedly catch something else, almost quaranteed. Please give fishing some more time and the fish WILL COME!!! I'm also very saddened to hear that some lowlife scumbag ripped off your trolling motor and transducer. Had I an extra, it would be yours! I'm hoping, as some of the other BR members have already stated, that someone will have a spare one that they can send you!! Take care, you will be in my thoughts and prayers!
  24. Got mine last Friday and WILL be using them on Upper Otay this Wednesday. THANKS, Bobby! I'll post results after I use 'em with some "secret" add ons:o)
  25. Every time one of our FLA brothers asks a question about using a float tube in FLA waters, I get the "JAWS" theme music playing in my head for hours!! Sure would hate to see someone seriously injured (or worse) by one of those nasty critters in the waters down there!
