Hey G, Congrats to you and your friend! Besides being malnourished, she appears to be old and on her way down... Smaller bodies of water that have few, if any live creeks to feed them have problems keeping enough forage for the larger predators. If the majority of the other fish in the pond are fat and healthy, she's just an OLE gal trying to make one more season Big O www.ragetail.com

Bigger is better when flipping or pitching, IMO. We're normally targeting fish that are in junk of some sort and I'm not sure that any fish could notice a difference in fluoro line weights with that type of reaction bite. If I have to use fluoro, 25 Invizx gets the call... Was using Paralleium Pro but it seemed to have too much memory after a hard day of use. Many of our Tx waters cause monos and fluoros to scale up with water deposits making them kink worse than normal. I've found that if I reel my line while lightly pinching it in a damp rag, it helps to remove much of the scale. Also improves the results when following up with line conditioner... again IMO. All 10" worms are similar in that they are basically 10 inches but with some, there are obvious and important differences... The Anaconda is a larger profile than other 10 inchers and gives full body movement which is good when added vibration and more visibility is needed. Plus it's AWESOME on a Rage Rig (weighted Hook)!. The Thumper has a substantial amount of bulk too but it's a straighter profile. It's more versitile in that it can be pinched down in length and/or the tail can be adjusted from a swimming motion to a side to side flap. Kim and Danny Stricker with Hook'n Look TV and I filmed a show in Michigan this week I came close to letting some of you Northern friends know about it prior to the shoot, but didn't want to put you on the spot. We had a terrific time and caught a load of Lm's on Space Monkey's both Tx rig and pitchin. After that both of them dove and recorded the exact same area and structure that we fished to view the habitat from the BASS's view and it was amazing!
