  2. Way to go nice fish
  3. Who cares its a healthy nice size bass. Great job
  4. So I'm looking into a new crankbait rod. I want to get another powell max but am not too sure the difference between the glass crankbait rod and the graphite one. What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of each?
  5. Yea i use my cranking set up with these lures.... I think you will be much more pleased with the Spro. They are much bigger they could eat the TT. I have both but i am much more pleased with the size and quality of the Spro.
  6. I voted Booyah because i love there new HD spinnerbaits. But i have terminators, strike king and BPS and all are great spinnerbaits.
  7. I own both the STX and the Supertuned HTSA. They are both excellent reels and both throw light baits well(the STX a little better IMO). I prefer the STX over the supertuned but you will not be disappointed with either one. Both are terrific reels.
  8. No experience with the zillions but Powell rods are fantastic. I plan on buying a couple more MAX series rods here real soon.
  9. There made in the USA other than that i have no experience with ardents
  10. My buddies dad just bought one and he loves it...He is a huge quantum fan so im sure his opinion is a little bias....It feels and looks like a quality reel.
  11. Must of been a "bad run" Floro is stronger then its weight rating.
  12. They are floro coated. They are more like a mono than floro IMO. I guess there a mix between the two. If you are looking for a floro i have heard the new Spiderwire 100% is the easiest casting and manageable floro. Again that is just what ive heard i am planning on buying some this weekend but have not used it yet..... I will post when i have tested it.
  13. Look into the Powell MAX series It is a terrific rod for $130 it could easily sell for $200 IMO... Terrific rods for the money.
  14. Senko have you fished these baits?
  15. I would def be stocking up on TTs worm weights thats all thats in my tacklebag
  16. Rage tail Frogs and shads are deadly at dawn and dusk
  17. The bait is so well constructed, its like art and is almost a shame to fish with a lure with such beuty 8-)
  18. Yea ***.com is the way to go. Like others mentioned BPS is a great store and for any outdoors man you will love just walking around the store and looking at everything
  19. The Banjo minnow and that shad swimbait from NGC sports. Had some decent action but it was freakin junk, built horribly
  20. So these two brands are pretty much the top dogs in reel making as far as selection and quality of reels. If you had to choose only one which do you think is better overall? Comparing their quality and range of choices of products. Lets hear what you think......
  21. Glen could probally let us know....didnt he ride with him in practice? He should know if he used it and if he caught any fish on it
  22. Thats exactly what i was going to say. ITS AMERICAS PASTTIME, GET WITH THE PRESENT
  23. You know NGC sports came out with a crank like this a couple years ago. I never believed it but my buddy bought three of them. We were out fishing and he was catching fish on them. I wouldnt say his catches improved but he was catching them. The NGC sports cranks just have a little blinking light on the side. These ones are much better quality then those. Who knows if the laser is attracting them or just the crank.
  24. Maybe you all should look into the Spro 4" BBZ it is bigger than the TT, The fast sink weighs 1 ounce. Theres no pin to pull. You just cant buy it at BPS. Also reaction strike has a revolution shad which is the same thing i guess but for $15. check ***
