  1. Anytime i can be on the water instead of in the house on the computer reading and thinking of fishing..... ;D
  2. I voted for the STX. I have one and love it and have never had a problem with it. If not the STX defineltly the Zillion
  3. Has anyone tried this line? Was thinking of trying it but for the price i would like to hear some opinions on it...ive heard its suppose to be a lot easier to manage than other floros.
  4. Man i want that reel bad. I wish bps carried them so i could get $50 off with the reel trade in. I cant afford $270 so im going to go with a shimano curado e5 instead.....
  5. Colors that represent Bluegills are my most productive
  6. The classic flyer is one of the main things on the BPS homepage now so i think it should be coming this week
  7. A little of subject but I am planning on buying one of these really soon and i cant determine which i should buy. I am eventually going to buy a floating and sinking but can only afford one for now. Which do you all think i should purchase first the floating or sinking?
  8. The STX has a free floating spool. It can cast light weight baits extremely well. I can cast weightless senkos further with my STX than i can with my spinning reel. Senkos arent a light bait tho so thats not the best judgement. If you own a premier that is a step up from the STX. So id go with the new curado just because you already have the Premier
  9. Which ever feels more comfortable to you....Both are great reels and you cant go wrong with either one
  10. The Extreme is definetly the best "cheepest" BC you can get. It is not the quality of a revo or curado. They are solid reels with exellent braking system to help you avoid backlashes. If i were you i would wait until the BPS Spring classic (if it ever comes) it is usually at the end of february. Last year they had the Extreme reels on sale for like $60 and the Extreme rods were $60 also and the rods are normally $99. So you could walk out with an Extreme combo for $120. Thats the best BC combo you will find for that price. NO QUESTION
  11. I agree that if you want to throw lighter baits pay the extra money and get the STX. It does cast lighter baits much better. My STX can launch a weightless senko with no problem.
  12. I still enjoy Nascar. I went to Martinsville and Dover last year. I root for kyle Busch (im sure everybodys going to love that lol) and always have so last year was a blast for me until the end when dang Johnson started dominating and Kyle couldnt do anything right. It definetly is more crew chief and equipment now but i still enjoy to watch it. The sport needs more aggresive drivers like kyle and carl. When they were battling at bristol and a hole stretch of tracks that was what nascar is all about. GO 18 and JGR
  13. I believe the top 3 positions that can dictate a football game is the QB, DE and 2nd string QB. The DE job is to pressure the QB and that is their worst nightmare a pass rush. I am a Ravens fan and hell we have never had a great QB. You see this year we now have a decent one and we go to the AFC championship. That is the only thing that changed for us from last year and we were 5-11 last year. Your QB touches the ball every offensive play. He is the leader of the offense. If a QB goes down and the backup isnt any good it is devastating to a team. Like Davis said, Football is definetly a team sport. A QB needs Lineman and if they dont block he cant do what he needs to do. The whole team relies on the QB. It is the most important single player on any team in the NFL.
  14. Was considering buying one of these but havent heard anything about them. The Snag Proof Bass Grabber Double Hook Jig. Anyone ever used them? http://www.***.com/descpageJIGSNAG-SPBGJ.html
  15. Youve Got to tell the monkey whos boss. Who am i kidding we all know whos the boss.....dang monkey
  16. Ill be buying some at the BPS spring classic. (I Locked the baitmonkey in the closet until then) Ive never had a problem with Rapalas.
  17. I have hit up greenbriar only from bank. I would like to take my boat up there this year. I have some buddys that live kind of near you Basser in the knoxville, boonsboro and sharpsburg area. So im out there a good bit and last year i caught a couple that had some nice bellys on them but were only 3 lbs. They were definetly healthy and im sure there are some trophys. The only problem with there is the beach part and people are always in the water so it almost pushes all the boats and fisherman to the one side of the lake so its a little crowded
  18. Well i have caught and seen many fish greater then 5lbs out of cunninham falls. DNR is a very big part of the lake. It gets stocked with trout and has creeks that get stocked with thousands of trout that run into it. Ive heard of 9lbs getting caught. The bass action up there is terrific when the trout get stocked. Im thinking of going up there at the end of march(when the first stocking is) and fishing with a trout swimbait and have a trout line in the water as well. The bass there are very healthy. Im not convinced its a better fishery then black hills but it is a must fish lake in MD. And its only $2 to use the boat ramp
  19. By LM you mean Leopard Mouth right lol That is one awesome looking bass
  20. This show is one of my favorite. Ike is my favorite pro fisherman. He calls into DC101 radio station a good bit and he is such an energetic and enthusiastic guy. How can you not love his scream when he catches one and how he almost falls EVERY time he sets the hook. My favorite is when they fish DC. That area of the potomac is known for LM and alls they were catching were good size SM almost unheard of down there. GREAT SHOW
  21. Always ask if your polite and pick up all your trash most people dont have a problem with you fishing. Just be respectful to their property.
  22. Looks is always a priority, just not a major one like how well the reel is built. With shimano you know your getting a quality product. Thats why looks are more of a priority.
