  1. Your paddle is upside down. To the OP, I bungee cord the rods together and they go in the hull of my kayak. I take 4-6 rods with me on most trips.
  2. What makes you think cutting an AC plug off a 9v adapter, adding a cig lighter, and powering it by 12v will work? Why not find 12v lights?
  3. Unplug and switch.

  5. Actually, I think the cold killed one of the pressure sensors. I keep them all at 38 psi in winter.
  6. Could be, lol. I think it will probably happen. If you don't like the weather in Rochester, wait five minutes. It will change.
  7. Get this: they're forecasting rain for tomorrow.
  8. Seems hopeless. 29" of snow this weekend.
  9. There were two face masks and a delay of game not called either.
  10. Mine is on moth balls until spring thaw, but from just handling it, it's really light, and smooth. I dig the form factor as well. Reminds me of an Alphas/Sol.
  11. My winter sports is limited to getting wood for the fire.
  12. You down staters are soft. They are calling for almost 2' up here. We will get nailed by lake effect from both Erie and Ontario.
  13. Now here is an old thread that is worth resurrecting! I joined in 2008, lurker from around 2005, back when the forum had that old, clunky interface. It's amazing to see what this has become, and be a part of it. I say thank you to all the members that contribute!
  14. 20'4" Basscat. Storage is their hallmark. There's room under the rod tubes for bulk storage for setups. I carried around 40 rods an reels in my Bullet, using the center storage, once I removed the rod tubes. There was room for plenty more. The key is to use rod sleeves and reel covers.
  15. We're always here if you need to chew the fat, or just vent. Keep us updated.
  16. @Choporoz Try Windy. Sick wind speed app.
  17. That actually happened t me. I was about to sign for a boat, and we found out about my youngest.
  18. I'm pretty sure it gets replaced with groan.
  19. We have the annual boat show coming next month, but there's not much in the way of tackle or fishing. Mostly dock construction, boat repair, and other off the wall products. It's really mostly for the boat dealers in the area to make sales. I used to do quite a few seminars and operated a booth at an outdoors sportsman event, but that has slid downhill. Mostly a chance for the rural crowd to come out and look at newest hunting supplies. They all get dressed up in their Sunday best camouflage. I'd mostly spend the day answering questions, but enjoyed all the stories people had. The local message boards (NYBASS) and Lunkerville (MikeD) used to put on a full day seminar, with speakers, food, and drinks after. That was down state, outside of NYC, and was a ton of fun. I did kayak seminars, and one year was the keynote speaker. I had to go up after Pete Gluzik. That was a tough act to follow. He keyed in on many of the points I was going to make, so I had to stray from my usual shtick. We got to hang out, and he was really interested in the rigs I brought. I haven't been to anything in years, and the seminar isn't a thing anymore. It got too expensive, and participation dwindled.
  20. Get well soon, man!
