Unhooking Frogs
When you set the hook, the frog usually rotates out of the way on the hook. At least, that's what is supposed to happen. Just grab the hook and rotate it back out. They're heavy gauge hooks, and large. No pliers or tools are necessary, unless a very large bass takes it deep.

Seeking great baitcasting reel for spoon fishing salmon/steelhead
I use a Shimano Calcutta 200B for kings, browns, and chrome here in the Great Lakes. I added a CF handle from Hawgtech, and Carbontex drag washers from Smooth Drags. I flushed the bearings with acetone, and oiled with Oust Metol. I use a 9' MH mod-fast custom rod. Spooled up with 10# CXX. That is one the smoothest, farthest casting rods I own. Here's my other Calcutta I use for up to three oz. swimbaits.

Name?
John Franchot Back in the day, we were only allowed 8 character logins for the network at work. Mine was "jfrancho" so I used it here, but I used it for the login name in the old BassResource system, and you couldn't have the handle name be the same as your user name. hence, I became J Francho. I thought about changing it, but so many people call me "j franco" in person, it sort of stuck. Even one of my best friends calls me that. I suppose it beats Johnny, my other nickname.

Rage Toad Falling Over
Ribbits are a little fussier than Rage Toads, in my experience. I've had no issues when one wasn't perfectly rigged and ran upside-down. It's really more of a mental/confidence thing.

A Big sarcastic Thank You!!!
So buy them at the place with the best price. Your post isn't going to change their pricing structure. I suggest you complain to them directly about their pricing.

New stinger 175 over-props?
Why does it take a couple days to put the prop in? It's a five minute job, and in fact, whenever I was at a motel for a tournament, I'd take the prop off, and keep it locked in my room. I'd bet they would send it to you, but I'm not sure it's that cheap to ship it.

Punch Shot vs. Jika Rig
Gotcha, thanks Tom. Yeah, I've been making them my own since I first tried the Jig Rig when it was new. I couldn't locate anything heavier, and through much trial and error, came up with the rig pictured. If I recall, the expense added up to around $1 or so a rig. You rarely lose them. I made a couple dozen up, and I still have a bunch. If you like the Owner weights, go for it. They are streamlines, but that doesn't seem to matter in use.

Punch Shot vs. Jika Rig
Those are not pre-rigged. The components are way too expensive. And the centering pin with that hook has a poor hookup rate for me, not a wide enough gap. It also adds too much hardware to the main split ring. That's how I got to the setup I pictured above. Pencil style trolling weights aren't too hard to find, I got mine at Field & Stream. The rest of the hardware I ordered online.

Punch Shot vs. Jika Rig
It's a trolling sinker, Owner Riggin' Hook, Hyperwire split ring, small Eagle Claw oval split ring. Hook goes on the main split ring. Oval split ring goes on the weight and attaches to the main split ring. Craw Bugs are an ideal bait for this. Some baits don't punch well, when traditionally rigged. This rig will get them down. They come in 3/16 and 1/4 oz. Nothing as heavy as what I make myself.

How Long Do You Typically Fish Your Fluoro?
I have four season old Invisx 6#, and it's fine.
-
Punch Shot vs. Jika Rig
Those are Owner Riggin' Hooks, and are appropriate for the baits I use. They a nice option for creature baits.
- 2oz and Larger Spinnerbaits

Braid Color
I doubt it. Makes more sense to just use a green or black marker.

Punch Shot vs. Jika Rig
Missed this. I fish the heavy Jika rig the same as a punch rig. Drop in a spot, jiggle, wait. No bite, get it out of there, and on to the next spot. The more traditional Jika rig replaces a standard Texas rigged plastic, with a sliding weight. The skinny weight penetrates weeds better than a bulky wobble head. Now if you're dealing with rocks, and snaggy territory, then the wobble head is a better tool.

Some questions on bearings
I degrease with Simple Solution, and clean with pure acetone from a beauty supply store. Small glass jars work fine. I keep changing out the acetone until it runs clear.
