Just read (almost every word) of all 23 pages. What a tremendous thread. Has anyone heard from bassnJoe? He was 43 with colon cancer. Hasn't posted for over a year.

  17. I agree with this and the other post. Redears are fighters. I've heard of stripers being referred to as a swimming freight train with stripes.
  18. I started to pick up a couple at a show in Baltimore. One booth had a 2 for 1 deal going. Another guy stopped me and said that he didn't think I'd be happy. A lot of purchases when they first came out. Not a lot after that. Guys just didn't seem to like them. I guess you have given some reasons.
  19. If we are judging by written correspondence then, yes.
  20. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UN3i89Va3HE&feature=related His fellow musicians called him "The Humbler" He has a Telecaster named after him. He was from Washington DC. Someone once called him the greatest guitar player that you never heard of. A reporter from the Washington Post once asked him if he practiced. He said that aside from playing in his band, "no I don't." He told the reporter that he was already the best guitar player in the world. When he wanted to get better than he already is, then he would practice. He was very known in the industry but, not by the public. I got to see him play one time for the benefit of a musician that was one of my best friends in 1993. He committed suicide a few years later. Check out some of the other performances on you tube.
  21. We are. Always err on the side of proper English and correct grammar. Correct is correct. It is not up for interpretation.

  24. My thoughts exactly....how can someone who is so skilled with software that they can create anime,,,and know what viviparous means NOT be able to run a basic search to find this out. No question is dumb....but many are insincere....My jabbing reply was deleted (nothning new there) because of this belief. C'mon dude...like your teacher told you in 4th grade: LOOK IT UP Our hero says what we think. I wish we could sign up for an Avid's deleted post email list.
