Kayak #1 gets my vote!! I have a Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120. I LOVE it!!! I'd look into that if you have the $$$$.

I like the YUM LPT stuff. It has a lot of scent, it doesn't cost a lot of cents, so it just makes sense!! LOL!! But seriously The LPT works GREAT for me!! I've never tried Berkley. Also Carolina Lunker Sauce works good, maybe even beter than LPT.

I think it's junk!!! It's too wirey (is that a word?) for me. JMO

I know this isn't bass but bear with me.......... Me and some friends are planning a saltwater tournament for kids this summer. We're looking for sponsors to donate equiptment (lures, line, tackle, maybe even rods and reels.) To be used during the tournament and for prizes. We are NOT a registerd organization or anything like that. We are just a group of guys getting a tournament together. Information: Who can fish: Anybody aged 6-18. Location: We're still working on that but most likely, West Galveston Bay, Texas Date: Probally a Saturday in May-July. Entry Fee: None is needed, but to offset the cost of 1st-4th trophies, donations are welcome. Prizes: This will be determined by the genorosity of our sponsors. ANYTHING IS WELCOME!! Every kid will be awarded a prize of some sort, just for participating! We will have bigger prizes for 1st-4th (including trophies) Additional Info: The kids must be accompianied by a parent or guardian and can wade, fish of a dike, pier, fish from a kayak, boat or any way they see fit. Weigh-in will be at a specified time, and there will be a cut-off time. Also: Donations DO NOT have to be saltwater related. ANYTHING fishing is GREATLY appreciated!!! I use 14lb. Berkley Fireline (it's a braid) or 14lb. Stren Super Braid I use Mono and Flurocarbon every once in a while. Mono: 12lb P-Line CXX Flouro: 12lb. P-Line Flouroclear And for puching heavy weeds and stuff. 65lb. Stren Super Braid

Settle down bud. Nobody's "bashing" your thread. We are just sharing our opinions, which is how forums work. Most of us have been fishing for a while, and can recognize a bad line when we come across it. Berkley's Iron Silk happens to be one of thoose lines. All we are trying to do is save other fishermen the hassle and possibly loss of lures and fish due to Iron Silk. We have used it. It works like CRAP. We are warning others no to make the same mistake that we did. Maybe you like it. That's COMPLETLY ok!!! Everybody has a right to their own opinions. Just don't take it personally because we don't like somehting that you love!!
