  1. Tom my current In-Fisherman Master Angler program lists 6.5lbs for all regions except region 2 (texas to florida & southern states) and * California & Mexican largemouth bass must be 10lbs or 24" as excluded from region 3 (western states). That said I personally consider a DD largemouth at 10lbs to be the equilvent of a 6lb smallmouth from the great lakes region. The In-Fisherman master angler program list 5.5lbs for regions 4 & 5 (Canada & great lakes & tributaries).
  2. Loons usually do not do that. Your swim bait must a pretty realistic example.
  3. Hey Stitch that would be nice. Jeff helped the most on the pamphlets so lets give him all the credit. I was just the messenger.
  4. I'm glad you're feeling well enough to go fish a little. You're right about checking your knot & retying whenever needed.
  5. I use 10 or 20 lb braid with a maxima ultragreen leader in 10, 12 or 15lb. The rods I use are moderate action M or MH power St Croix's in spinning or baitcasting. I use a fairly light drag setting that just barely slips on a hard hooksett. I know a lots of guys prefer fast or extra fast actions but they are not very compatible with braid. The braid allows you to work a bait with very short or subtle movements of the rod tip. This system works well for me on the open waters of lake erie.
  6. How am going to get those 6lb smallies out with a 12" bait net J?
  7. I noticed the leader & thought that was funny until I remembered you are from New York. Land of the pike & pickerel. Beautiful baits.
  8. Always.
  9. Nice fish. You will never know what they weight without a scale.
  10. Save your money. You need braid or floro.
  11. Braid and a leader will solve that problem. Try working the bait boat side or bank side to get a better idea how it moves with different strokes.
  12. She is holding that musky like she does it every day. Sweet fish.
  13. Get the smartcraft gauges. Knowing engine temps make a big difference in possible durability.
  14. Nice one. And the frog is?
  15. Congrats on the PB, the win and a great story.
  16. That bottom one looks like she has a double chin belly.
  17. Sweet pb. Congrats.
  18. Boy that sucks. Hope you succeed with your diet & get things under control. Rest up the fishing will wait.
  19. Looks like he is wearing one of your hats A-Jay
