  1. I was reading the July 2013 issue of In-Fisherman and found an article called Blade Monkey by senior editor Steve Quinn about spinnerbaits. In the artice he mentions his PB largemouth was caught on a spinnerbait. There is a picture of his 14lber caught at Lake Baccarac in the article. Another beautiful Lake Baccarac grande.
  2. Beautiful. Congrats to you both.
  3. They work great as a trailer on a spinner bait or on a scrounger jig.
  4. Kent your guide & meals are included in your lodging. All you have to pay is airfare & lodging. Since we are all adults there will be no need for a chaperone. We would love to have you.
  5. Practice makes perfect when using topwater.
  6. Great fish. How do like that saddle style wrap on the senko compared to a regular o-ring or shrink tubing?
  7. Looks like you guys really did well considering the weather. Your smallies looked bigger than the largemouth. Congrats on putting the pieces of the puzzle together.
  8. Cool. Love the photos. He definately looks like he is having fun.

  13. Happy Birthday and don't do anything I would not do.
  14. Slow, sloooow & slooooooow.
  15. I have caught lake trout, brown trout, steelhead, channel cats, rock bass, white bass, largemouth, walleye, pike & perch while fishing for smallmouth with jerk baits. While fishing for largemouth I have caught bowfin, pickerel, gar & an alligator.
  16. Thanks guys. Those bigger lake trout grow 1/2 to a 1 lb per year. Some of the bigger ones I have caught are actually older than me. LOL They are strong fighters much like a striper or salmon. They belch up bubbles when they are under the boat signaling they are ready to be cradled. That is actually their way of equalizing their air bladders.
  17. Tell Ron his was definitely the biggest. Nice job.
  18. Sounds like you really figured them out and had a sucessful time doing it.
  19. Spool up some 10lb braid and try again. Breaking strength is around 17lbs.
  20. And the shimmy chronicle continues. Love the pictures, keep it coming.
