Questions, Suggestions, Opinions, Whatever You Guys Can Offer
Can you cite a source to back up this claim? I owned a 200e7 for quite a while, and I can honestly say that it was nothing special. It's like the Toyota Camry of the fishing world. It's fairly smooth, reasonably comfortable, casts decently, etc., but it doesn't do anything that makes it stand out from all of the other reels out there. Sure, with some bearing and drag upgrades it can be a pretty good reel...but the same can be said for just about every other baitcaster out there. I only own one Shimano reel right now (Cardiff 100A), and if there were more options for small, light, reasonably-priced round reels, I probably would've bought something else.

Do You Bring A Gun
I carry everywhere it's legal. I put it on every morning when I get dressed, and take it off when I go to bed, just like my wallet, watch, keys, and pocket knife.

Anyone Have A Extra Spincast Reel.
You can take it back for replacement, or you can contact Zebco. Their customer service dept. is fantastic, and they'll most likely send you the parts for free. I had an issue with a 33 Platinum a few years ago and they had the replacement parts in my mailbox in about a week.

Buying A Reel Without Touching It
I buy my rods in person, but I buy most of my reels on Ebay, and have only gotten one bad one. To my knowledge, the only manufacturer that won't warranty reels purchased on Ebay is Shimano.

You Are Not Special
It's just a shame the speech was wasted on a group of kids won't truly undrstand much of what he said until they're about the same age as the speaker. At that age (17-19), they're convinced that they know it all, and it'll be several years before they realize how little they actually know.

What Rod-Reel Combo Is This?
Actually, Silstar is the parent company of Pinnacle.

What Rod-Reel Combo Is This?
That's a spinning setup, not spincast. Spincast reels are "closed face" reels, like the Zebco 33.

A Reel For My Rod
It would be much easier to answer your question if you could post a pic of the reel seat so we can see what you're talking about. As far as I know, there's only one type of spinning reel foot...

Anyone Use The Pfluegar Supreme Xt Spinning Reel?
Me neither.

Spincast Reels
Laugh all you want, but the Omega is actually a pretty nice reel. Extremely heavy but smooth, reliable, casts well, and has a decent drag. I have a Z03 on my hiking/backpack rod, and it has taken some decent catfish.

Here Is A Tax Question For All Those Tax Guru's
Option B is the same as working one $5 hr job for 40 hr/wk. You'd make half as much as you would working 40 hrs @ $10/hr. $10 x 40hrs = $400 $5 x 20hrs = $100 $100 x 2 = $200

Sandwiches!!!!!
Why'd you have to go and post this? Now I'm gonna have to swing by Publix and pick up a Cuban. I don't know what it is about this sandwich, but the ones in the cooler are usually better than the fresh ones.

Lews Speed Spool Vs. Shimano Curado
There's a HUGE difference between ordering a product and having them ship it to you within 5 days and sending in a product for replacement, having them receive it, process it, authorize a return, pack/ship the replacement, and having it at your door in 4 days.

Commercial Fishing
Looks like a fine career for a high school dropout or ex-con, but I'd have to think there are better options for someone with a diploma or degree.

Still Just Dont Get It, Just Not For Me.
X2 Better reel than the Curado, in every way.

Open Carry
Actually, unless something has changed in the past few years, the cost of an AL firearm permit was set by the County Sheriff and varied substantially from one county to the next...as did the restrictions. The last AL permit I had (2006) was from Jefferson Co, cost me a whopping $7.50, and had a big green block across the top with the word "unrestricted" in it. My GA weapons license cost me about $80, but that's because we have to pay for the background check and fingerprinting. Back to the question at hand - In GA you can carry openly with a GWL, but I never do. I don't want the people around me (good guys or bad guys) to know I'm carrying until it becomes necessary to let them in on the secret. My wife and parents know that I'm always carrying, but I don't even want my kids to know. I think, in many cases, the people open carrying are just looking for attention...and that's just not my style. I'd much rather just blend in with the rest of the herd.

Still Just Dont Get It, Just Not For Me.
There's nothing wrong with the Abu 4600, but it's over an ounce heavier and much taller in profile than the Cardiff 100A. Even the Calcutta 100B is almost an ounce heavier than the Cardiff.

Just Went To Tackle Warehouse
I live 15-20 minutes from the Atlanta BPS, so I rarely buy tackle online. If/when I do, it's usually from Amazon or Ebay. I often find myself a few bucks short of free shipping on my Amazon orders, so I'll have them toss in a jig or something to make it over $25. I've ordered from TW and Northstar in the past without any problems, and will likely do it again, but as of right now I have more tackle than I could use in the next few years.

Still Just Dont Get It, Just Not For Me.
If someone else would come out with a decently priced, fairly light, compact round reel with a recessed reel foot, I wouldn't own a single Shimano product. I just sold my last Shimano low-profile reel, and it's highly unlikely that I'll ever own another.

"private" Boat Ramps
How can you have public water without a right of way to access it?

How Long Should It Last?
Regardless whether I paid $50 or $350 for a reel, I expect it to last until I get bored with it and put it up for sale. For me, they're just tools, not collectibles or heirlooms.

Am In Need Of An Air Compressor Part
I'd be inclined to just buy a 1/4" NPT male brass ball valve and install it with a bit of teflon tape.

The Heck Do I Do With This...
They're good t-rigged and fished like a worm, use it on a shaky-head, flipped/pitched, as a jig trailer, etc. They're one of my favorite soft plastics, and there's no bad way to rig them.
