  1. Welcome to the kingdom, my friend!
  2. One of my favorite youtube videos of all time!
  3. Interesting... I use the reel only to pick up slack when fishing soft plastics and jigs... and since it picks up slack faster, your A.D.D. should like it better! ...lol I understand you're supposed to move the bait with your rod, but I just don't like doing that. I guess it's a combination of my laziness and my A.D.D.
  4. I realize I will not be in the norm here, but I have an E7, and with my extremely bad A.D.D. I find it hard to slow down using soft plastics and jigs. However, that thing casts like butter and I can't put it down.
  5. Looks like you've got it down to me. I have the 6'9" MH for everything but trebles, and the 6'9" Parabolic for trebles.
  6. When I run out, or when I'm about to get spooled by a fish. I.e., probably once a year.

Good luck! Maybe you'll even break another TM!?
  8. I've never seen a single one of these over here on the East Coast.
  9. Oh...Now c'mon... I told you I would! I don't mean initially, I mean after a days use, if I don't use it again my line is worse than before.
  10. I've had better success wth the FC over YZ Hybrid. I know i will get beaten down for this comment, but the KVD Line Conditioner seemed to actually stiffen my line if I didn't use it every single trip on the Hybrid. My line was decent without it though. I like Trilene 100% over anything though, and I can tell the difference with the conditioner on it.
  11. Wow, somebody finally from Boone! I haven't fished in Boone much, but from what I hear the Watauga River is your best bet. There are plenty of lakes within an hour away though. Watauga lake in TN, Bass Lake in Blowing Rock, Price Lake (a trout lake) off the Blue Ridge Parkway, Buckeye Lake down 321. Those are all of the ones I know of.
  12. Thats odd. Seems like they had a decent selection about a month ago when I was over there. I was there in late January. It was the smallest Dick's I had ever been into. Walking in from the parking lot entrance fishing stuff is on the left side. I walked down every single isle at least 3 times.
  13. I went to a Dick's in Johnson City, TN and they didn't even have jigs...? The one in Winston Salem is pretty bangin' though. I go there for most of my stuff.
  14. Please tell me that is your brother on the right!?!?!
  15. I would kill for any type of fast food service within 20 minutes of my house.
  16. Wow! 6 overtimes?? This is what march is all about!
  17. If a reset doesn't work I'd see if Apple could fix it. If not, I'd say it is done.
  18. I just think its funny the government tries to jack up prices and limit one of the biggest revenues in our nation while in a recession. If they really want money they should tax marijuana.
  19. Meeee! They pass through my pasture every single night in a gang of about 20. Right before the season starts (beginning of April) they will break up and will be nowhere to be found. But hey, that's what makes it fun, right?
  20. I don't.
  21. I live on the Yadkin River. I've caught smallies, but I've caught way more largemouth. That may just be because I target largemouth though...
  22. Brilliant? Yes, actually. Your post about an abnormal brand name just got this product at least 20,000 more potential buyers! Look at it that way.
  23. I live in the mountains where it either rains or snows at least 2 days a week. I wear Mountain Hardware and The North Face. However, before you pull the trigger on a new jacket, try this stuff. I use it about every 3 months. Makes my jacket as good as new! http://mcnett.baron-co.com/page.cfm?pageID=1176
  24. X 2! The Rage Tail Craw is my go to river bait.
  25. I honestly don't understand this poll, but since there is not wrong answer I voted for "play for the win"!
