I start reeling my Cavitron a little BEFORE it hits the water. Keep at it!

I have been consistently fishing my local river, but I had only been catching different kinds of fish as big as my hand. I had also been going out in muddy water with not much luck. Today the water had cleared so I decided to fish. I hooked into this little guy with an X-Rap. I caught several more smaller ones on Rage Tail Craws. I felt like a little boy catching my first fish again! In all the excitement I dropped my reel into the water, so if anyone as any recommendations on how I should care for my reel now I'd love to hear them. Also, is muddy water a turn off to smallies? This is the best day I've by far, also with the clearest water yet. Thanks for reading!

Woooahh Catt, calm down. ;D Don't worry, we've got respect for LSU. All of the LSU fans seem really "defensive" to be claiming the game will be a huge blow out. I honestly don't know what will happen, but if I had to put my own money down, I'd bet the game would NOT be a blowout. I can promise you ASU isn't sitting around right now counting their rings or talking about Michigan. They are just hungry to play football.

I fish the Yadkin river where it separates Yadkin County from Forsyth County. (NorthWest NC) We have land that joins the river, and I am close enough I can ride my 4-wheeler there. The fishing here is decent. I am still learning how to fish rivers!

The E's are out on Cabela's for $119.99. The older D's are on sale for $89.88 on ***.com. I would get a Citica E personally. They've improved them a bunch.
