Neat collage and niiiiice fish!

I get more of a rush with hunting, but I'd rather catch fish all day long. I like a bunch of little rushes more than 1 huge rush not as often... If that makes sense?

What is the correct way to set the hooks on a crankbait?

Tie on the blade part. You can fish them any way you want like the package suggests. (Jig, spinner, crank, blah, blah.....)

You will need a cast net. I wouldn't worry about it though. You will catch so many fish you'll be sore. Cut bait will work as well. The boat workers will know what they are doing though; they'll have the right bait. Where are you going?

Weren't you the guy that said a couple of days ago your line was breaking because you weren't cleaning out your backlashes all the way? Was this with the Yo-Zuri and are you sure thats a line issue? Try the Regular Hybrid when you go out next. It works well for me.

Just an update... I was one of the ones that had never had a bite on the Cavitron until today. I went out behind the house about 5:00pm throwing a 5" Senko. It started to pour rain so I figured I'd try the Cavitron once again. It was insane! I pulled a fish every other cast, none of which were dinks. It didn't matter where I threw that thing. It was a fun 10 minutes because after the rain stopped I couldn't buy a bite. But anyway, just thought I'd share.

I use Regular Hybrid 10# and it doesn't seem that bad. I always spray my reel with the KVD conditioner as I leave the house.

I have caught fish before just chunking and reeling. Banging a crankbait is not a have to.

I always heard "You can pay $1 and go half-***, or you can pay $3 and go first class". I agree that money should be spent. I have witnesed family members that were potential millionaires that lived without HVAC, in rags for clothes, and ate pork and beans every night. While this has nothing to do with fishing, some people put way too much empasis on saving money for their kids and grandkids when they die, and they forget to enjoy life themselves. It all comes down to what you like, want, and are willing to spend.
