Bypass the Sure Set hook & go for the Owner 2X black ST-41. Best treble hooks on the market IMHO.

My mom has had Stage 4 cancer for 23yrs. I'm hopeful & optimistic but not foolhardy. I'd like to think that someday they'll find a cure for cancer, but with there being so many diff types, all acting differently in each person, it's hard for me to think that they'll find one thing to cure it all. As for now, & the past 23yrs, prayers, with the help of great doctors, have worked wonderfully.

I'll be there that time as well. It's home sweet home for me. Best of luck to you. As for me I'm just hoping for a 10+ this year. Last year I caught 3 PB's on Fork, each one getting bigger, with the last one going a little over 9. So I really do think I'll break into the double digits this year.

X2 However now that I have a good depth finder it's gotten much better. Also mastering the drop shot would be up there, but I also haven't given it enough time to really say that it's the hardest to learn.

Just got back from Cabelas with minimal damage done to my bank account thanks to a great sale. I went to pick up a few 8" Lake Fork "Live" Magic Shad swimbaits & they just so happened to be on sale for $3.88 ea. I don't know if that sale in going on everywhere else but if so I'd grab what I could fast.

Great job. I would seriously get a scale like D4u2s0t said. Their cheap & they'll take ounces your bass' weight. ;D Pounds if it's a really nice one. But hey, at least you'll know the correct weight. Congrats on the PB though. Great looking bass.

First of all, by no means am I a Taylor Swift fan. I also agree that she sucks live. However she is a pretty darn good song writer. Telling stories, with substance, through song is kind of a lost art, and she does it pretty well for being so young. So many artists just say the same thing over & over with different music. She still sounds like a kid singing to me but at least she has the songwriting part down. Hopefully her voice will catch up real soon & maybe she'll be a decent live performer some day.

I always have a dressed hook on all my poppers & suspending jerkbaits. I don't know if they literally catch me more fish, but I sure fish them with greater confidence which in turn makes them better.

Honestly I haven't got a clue. My fishing bud & I fish Lake Fork & we almost always have multiple 5lbs+ days, but I don't have an exact number. Our best day on Fork we caught bass weighing 9lbs, 6lbs 4oz, 6lbs 3oz, 5lbs 12oz, & a couple of 4 pounders between 8:00 - 9:00 AM on April 4th 2009. Insane morning.
