  1. The bigger ones were there. Next time you get the opportunity and start picking up small ones off the point work out to deeper water, mainly the canals in the bays. The bigger ones at times will be there just in deeper water. I experienced this exact same occurrence.
  2. When your there ask them to check the back for a specific rod. They have rejects everyday but keep in mind these rods at 50% off do no carry a lifetime warranty. One year only and you must have a receipt.
  3. It will be a happy day.
  4. I am not sure what to call it' but one thing for sure the action of your bait is the best attractant. Another thing I know for sure is that these products will make bass hold on longer. Maybe we should call it STICK EM.
  5. That is an old bait. I believe I got mine back in the early 80's. Never caught anything with it but hope you do.
  6. I would add a drop of oil to the spool bearings. More times then not any reel will need oil when purchased new, especially if it sat on the shelf for a while
  7. Happy Belated Mike, I'll tip one to your good health.
  8. Nice, thanks for the reply. I have the Lowrider Lizard Dragger, and it's definitely more like a MH. So do you think if I got the XH it would be closer to a true Heavy? IMHO I think that going down in Power one level is more of a true rating.
  9. I do not have that rod but a Head Turner and Lizard Dragger 1. Both I would consider rated as over-powered. Both are Heavy Power but act more like a MH Power. Very sensitive rods as far as i am concerned.
  10. You can but a T-Rigged Craw mostly. You will already be setup for the standing timber. Some of the timber is in fairly deep water 24 ft. Use a 3/8 weight s the Crappie do not get a chance at them. A lot of fellas fish crappie off the timber.
  11. Now that is all I need something more to occupy my time.
  12. Rage Hawg but for a smaller bait the Baby Brush Hog, come on Big O give us a smaller one. June Bug- Rage Hawg PB&J- Baby Brush Hog
  13. The bays across from the Lithia Spring Marina. Work the main points and gradually work into the standing timber.
  14. X2 Could not have said it better myself.
  15. $ 100.00 and more importantly enhanced sensitivity. If you are using for a bottom contact rod then $ 50.00 would be wasted if the cheaper is bought.
  16. Not mine but my fishing partners. I just landed by hand. 49 inch Musky caught on St Clair. The rod he is holding is the rod used. A G Loomis Bronzeback M Power Spinning. Caught on a Wiggle Wart.
  17. TRUTH With age comes wisdom.
  18. The ocean is no place for anyone to be alone in, regardless of gender or age.
  19. Nothing wrong with a little cardio first thing in the morning, Kent.
  20. I would recommend this rod. http://falconrods.com/index.php/rods-reels/rods/bucoo/bucoo-casting/bucoo-7.html Falcon Power Ratings are a bit on the light side so I would not be worried.

It's Florida, they are use to it! I would worry more about the retirees.
  22. White mimics a shad, throw when shad are present.
  23. Simple, we earn our money and have the right to spend it the way we see fit. This plays into the equation more then anything. I use what I like and buy what I like and will not fault who does the same.
  24. Good luck Boys, knock em dead.
