Need advice from someone that owns a chronarch and a curado?
I own a D7 and an E7 both cast equally well. To be quite honest the differnce between the two as far as performance is minor. Both wll serve you well if you want to save some money the E7 will be just fine.

Cranks
No Pro here but I would use a Manns Minus 1 if I was. I have caught a boat load. Also if you can still find them ( a bit hard these days) try a Storm Sub Wart. The wart runs closer to 1 foot though.

Thank you all

left hander-LH or RH baitcaster reel?
You know I have tried a LH reel but could not get use to it. When I learned to cast, baitcaster first as that was the only thing my father had, there was no such thing as LH. I just could never adjust. By the way I am RH but cast with either hand. I switch when the right gets tired.

Thursday night football
Brett was not in game playing shape. May be his age or his avoidance of training camp. The Saints I thought played like SB Champs. But as Sam said the QB's still have to get their timing down. Good to have Football back. The sign of solidarity at the beginning of the game was a bit much, I hope a lockout is not in the future.

Great Weekend on the Juniata!
I try to book a guide 1-2 times a year. I have been fishing 46 years of my 51 year existence and still find something to learn. Believe it or not I am sure a guide also learns from you. Looks like a great trip.

spinnerbait collor and blades
Somewhat unrelated to your question but in stained water I will take advantage of the clarity and use Braid. Braid will increase your hookup percentage. I also prefer an ExFast action which will also help in hookup percentage.

Is everyone on this board a senko freak?
Are you saying it is too easy to catch fish on Senkos? Is it somehow cheating for a skilled fisherman to use a Senko? When a jig is working very well do you change baits to make it more difficult to catch fish? Wanting to catch fish is a fundamental element of fishing. : I completely agree with fishing what you like, and what you're good at. To imply that Senkos are somehow not worthy of a true fisherman is silly in my humble opinion. :-? Man, you and I are not in the same frequency: 1.- where did I say that it 's cheating for a skilled fisherman to use a senko ? 2.- where did I : "dude this thing is working, change it so it gets more difficult ?" 3.- Where in the friggin world I said that: senkos are not worthy of a true fisherman" ? Raul a lot can be implied to your statement, maybe you can elaborate. :-?

Tom, I hope Ava is running and playing with all of all dearly departed friends. I am sure My Honey which I lost last February will welcome her. Leo

bucoo vs. lowrider
I would take the Lowrider it is a better rod, IMHO. The Bucoo is lighter due to the EVA grips. I have both but perfer my Lowrider.

Old Friend Welcomes Us
Well my fishing partner and myself decided to fish a lake neither has fished in quite some time, Willow Slough in Morocco, IN. It has been 25 years years for me in open water and 51 years for him. Yes Old Cranky is old, LOL. We decided to go last Saturday even though they were calling for isolated thunderstorms, they were not at all isolated. As a matter of fact they were right over us and we were in a gully washer for about 1.5 hours. Well you know what they say if you wait for perfect weather to fish you will never go fishing. This lake is about 1200 acres and trolling motor only. Average depth is less then 4 feet with lots of weeds, some pads and submergent brush. Perfect for a Rage Tail Toad!!!! Sorry Big O it was not to be. As the weather did not deter us neither would our choice of presentation. We figured them out, they preferred beating into the mid-lake brush with a spinner bait and boy did they smack em. End result was 41 landed. smallest about 14 inches. A couple of 4 lb'er and about 6 better then 3 lbs. Wet feet, sore thumbs and smiles on our faces is what our old friend left us. WE SHALL RETURN! Moral of the story, give an old friend a call sometime.

OH BOY do I love the splitshot rig!!!
Add a barrel swivel. For a little weight presentation you do not need a split shot. Add weight for your desire depth or wind conditions. Caught many of smallmoth in the spring on flats with a barrel swivel tied on.

killer football practice
Put the time in now, you will not regret it on game day when you kick booty. When I played I was in pain after practice but never on game day. Good conditioning pays off. I wish I could still do it.

The Oil Well Is Capped!
My only worry is that this is a good fix. They lack experience with this and as pressure builds who knows.

so... im going to be a father.
Best advice I can give is never have any regrets in your Golden Years. Embrace and never let go. Mistakes will happen but take the time to correct. Congrats and good luck.
