Yeah, I agree. The sponsors throw money at these guys so that they can get their product in front of people. I know most who complain about product pushing would do the same exact thing if they had huge sponsors that they needed to keep happy. I know alot of the pushing sounds like b.s. and probably takes away from the interview but it is what it is and its not going away. They have a limited amount of time on the camera so they have to do it when they can.

I'd like to know how many KVD 1.5's get shipped out tomorrow from all the tackle outlets around the country. ;D

In my opinion he'll get better once he's hung around the anglers enough to find out this and that about them and their personalities. I think he should ask every one of the guys up there to 'tell us about your day' and just let them have at it, especially if he's having trouble keeping it going or is nervous or whatever. Let the angler's talk. Thats what the fans want to hear anyway.

I agree. Today was a little better for Mercer. I think he'll get better once he gets a couple more tournaments in. It seems like he's really having to search for things to say or ask and at times just seems at a loss for words. I'm sure that makes it hard on the angler's as well, not having the emcee leading the conversation very well. Is it just me or does watching the weigh-in online seem 'lamer' than usual? It's either the mic's aren't picking up the fan noise or all the fans are asleep. Doesn't seem to be much energy in there for whatever reason. I'm sure it is, it's just not making it to the internet feed. And for anybody that didn't know this beforehand....KVD is the man. I'd like to see Chapman get a full day to fish in his area because I think he could seriously put the pressure on KVD. I heard Trip say at the presser that if they cancelled tomorrow for fog that they would fish Monday. Go B.A.S.S. !!

Me too. My Reebok cap blew off while I was running back to a weigh-in so I had to let it sink. :'( I figured it would be easy to find another one but I haven't been able to yet. The search is going on 2 years now. The FlexFit Mitchell and Ness caps are nice and fit really well. I cant do the flat bill caps....they just plain suck, plus I'm more than 15 years old.

They still pay a shipping cost but it's at a highly reduced rate. Companies get huge discounts for shipping a big volume of packages and making a commitment that just one of the delivery companies get ALL their freight. This is a very common practice.

No kidding. Every Johhny/Rude I ever had was very hard to start cold. The GT150 I had was bulletproof once it started.
