I'll second the Megabass X-80 Trick Darter, I love that jerkbait. Most people overlook the TD's and go right for the 110's but that's perfectly fine with me. Another one is a Kinami Crankbait. It dives 5-6' and rattles but they're limited on colors. I got a couple in a trade once and caught so many fish with those 2 that it wasn't even funny. Someone mentioned on here that they were on clearance at Academy for super cheap so I got Catt to pick me up every Kinami crank he could find. I've got 8 or 10 left. When I get low again I'll definitely be trying to find some more.

CWB has it right. The people who dont like or follow sports probably never played any sports. The thrill of competition usually runs deep in those that have, whether they are playing or watching, and yes, it's sad that they will never know that feeling.

Insert Raiders, same thing. Seeing the Raiders lose in the Super Bowl against Tampa Bay really sucked but it wasn't too painful...we could all see that one coming. Our starting center flaked out the day before the game and ended up drunk in Mexico on game day plus they were playing against their ex-coach Gruden. It was a heck of a game tonight. I just KNEW the Steelers were going to come back at the very end and ****** the victory from GB. I'm so glad that didnt happen.

Thank goodness for that fumble!

GB looks good and I hope they can win it but you know you cant count the Steelers out until the final whistle. I sure hope the Packers defensive players can get back in the game...they were dropping like flies there at the end of the half. Go Pack! Slash is the only good part of the halftime show thus far.

This is how I think as well. Although, in a tournament situation the clock is ticking so I tend to bail on spots as soon as I get the sign that things are about to die. There are times that I should stay and play it out on certain spots but the mental headgame takes over most of the time and I just bail to another spot. If I've got a decent limit in the boat I'm more likely to stay on a spot longer....if not, I move on quickly but I always try to work it in to revisit certain spots throughout the day. I have a good friend who will sit on one spot for an entire tournament but he's got nerves of steel. Plus, he has the confidence in that one spot that he will get the bites he needs during an 8 hour period. Lots of times I'll go by and see him just sitting down, not casting, talking on the phone or whatever but he's still on his spot. He does real well too.

Griffin/Franklin was a total dud but that kick to Belforts face made up for it.

You must have missed the memo on the senko not catching quality fish. How dare you spank the field with a senko!

The Baby Rage Craw is a real good one on smaller jigs. I use the Yum Big Show Craw quite a bit and they skip real well. A Yamamoto Flappin Hawg gets alot of work when I want a bulkier look.
