  1. The last few spools of Vanish that I have bought have been great.....a couple of years ago there was a period of time that it was the worst line you could buy, then Berkley worked out the problems and its back in the game.
  2. It's funny that most of the Kistler haters have never even fished one.....this thread gets better with each reply!
  3. Thats probably how I should've used my card from Glenn (buy lots of different stuff) but I bought ONE REEL with it....a Pflueger Supreme Magnesium spinning reel.....ON THE WAY HOME FROM FORK no less!! Nice haul Russ!!
  4. Reel Mech, I know this thread is full of BS and some people are misrepresenting certain products......so please drop some knowledge on these guys. Also Reel Mech, have you ever FISHED a Kistler?
  5. Good pics Craw.
  6. Revo S model....$99
  7. I used to fish with a guy that was Shimano only and he immediately changed out the bearings on any new Shimano he bought. He swore changing them made a difference but I really cant say it did or it didnt because I've never done it. My only question is "why would you upgrade bearings on a Shimano"? Judging by the hype and price of Shimano reels, it seems to me that the upgraded bearings would be IN THE REEL when its made.....not after the fact. And then coming out of your pocket AGAIN for an upgrade on what is supposed to be a premium product doesnt make much sense to me. But that's just one man's observation/opinion and I am not bashing anyone who does it, its just a mystery to me. Also, what would you do with the original bearings? Can you trade them in towards the good ones?
  8. ...or you could order some baits from USAC Pro Shop and they'll send you a free copy of BASSWEST with your order.....
  9. I fish the headwaters of the James River alot in the summertime and on certain days you can throw topwaters all day long......my favorite is a Torpedo......second favorite is a Tiny Torpedo.
  10. Excellent post Lightnin Rod!
  11. You forgot to light up a cigarette after the cast.....seems he always has a Marlboro going when he gets the big bite. RIG CAST LIGHT CIGARETTE SET HOOK ON MONSTER BASS
  12. In your opinion And mine.
  13. Dont waste your money.....that stuff don't work. :-?
  14. You dont know RW very well, do you? ;D Kistler could send RW 10 LTX's and 10 Heliums for free, he'd throw them around a little, send them back and apologize to his Loomis rods for being unloyal. ;D

I only split mine about 25% of the time and its been one of my best baits this season. I get a little slower fall when texas rigged, un-split.
  16. Hey Fivebasslimit do you still have these? I have a few left. Here's a pic of the ones I have. They are only for casting rods.

  19. Cool video fellas and awesome music to go with it! Thanks for taking the time to post that up.
  20. I own 6 or 7 G Blanks right now. I really like 'em and they are very light and sensitive. Not quite as sensitive as my Heliums but every bit as light. My GBlanks flippin rod is actually lighter than my Helium flippin rod by about a 1/2 oz.....probably the split grip weight. I dont have any problems with them.
  21. Its always nice to have a limit at weigh in time! Way to go man!
  22. Yeah, I doubt Crews will win it.....I had thought about following Jamey/and whoever also but that really depends on who he's paired with. I'm leaning toward KVD on the first day, then Ike on day 2, then someone who makes the cut (TOP 50) on Saturday, then someone in the top 3 in the finals. Only problem with KVD and Ike is that they'll have everyone on them and things could get hairy if they do alot of running around.
  23. Rolo, the tail doesnt float quite like a 3X.....but what does? It does have good action though if you use a stand up head (spot remover) and do the drag or hop every now and then. The tail has a good up and down action. slayer, I have not tried the Chigger Craw yet.
