I was a boxing fan for many many years, then all the different commissions got into a rock throwing contest with each other and it brought pro boxing down to almost nothing. UFC/Pride will soon take over pro boxing if it hasnt already. You know when ESPN shows highlights of a UFC PPV the very next morning and when they interview UFC fighters on the daily radio shows.....something big is about to happen. ESPN can see whats coming.

I should have mentioned that I just want to tie some jigs.....not get into the molds and all that yet. Dont have room enough for all that get-up. I am basically looking to tie some with thicker skirts. Its hard to buy a jig with a thick, full skirt anymore.

My last couple of orders have consisted of a bunch of things being backordered and some that were not even backordered but they just refunded my money and I was told that I would have to check availability in the future and try to order them again. And shipping was super slow on the initial orders plus the backorders.

I just watched one of the broadcasts from Fork on Versus.....it was Day 2 coverage (yesterday) .....the guys were catching loads of fish! The wind was a killer! Alton Jones' team is leading by a good bit. I think the big fish Saturday was 9-8. Its down to the Top 5 teams fishing today and they expect better conditions today. The pre-tournament favorite Kelly Jordon didnt make the Top 5....his team was 7th or 8th.

So did you use the hot dogs like a jerkbait with a twitch- twitch- pause across points or did you just reel them like a swimbait over the grass.....or were they carolina rigged on humps? Wacky rigged & skipped under docks? Give up the technique preach!

There is a guy in my bass club that has one (late 80's model) and he's had it for a LONG time. Still a solid boat and he wouldnt even consider selling it. In a different club way back when, my partner then had one and we fished in his boat alot. It seemed well built, it fished well (stable) and had a pretty decent ride. I had considered buying one at one time but they were scarce and I couldnt find one close to home.

I'd like to try tying some jigs here at home. What do I need to get started? What is a good website to order stuff from? Also, feel free to throw out any tips you may have.... Thanks!

No. I have a Shimano tackle bag filled with all Shimano boxes and I'm not a Posse member. Just couldnt pass it up at a yard sale for $5 bucks. ;D

Yikes...........guess I'll have to resort to hand signals You might see some hand signals yourself if you take too long getting that thing in the water at the ramp!! ;D Just messin' with you man, if you are having trouble there will most likely be someone close by to lend you a hand.
