  1. I only peg when the cover is heavy.
  2. They are not on their website but each store has different items on sale at different times. If I were you and could not find it on sale, I would wait. They go on sale quite often and stay that way for long periods of time. At their sale price, they are a great cranking rod.
  3. I love me some Ranger Ride though. The best riding boat I have been on by far is a Skeeter. They ain't slow either.
  4. Mike, these are really awesome pictures. I would love to have one of these!!!
  5. You will be fine with 10 lb. CXX. It is actually a pretty good choice for walking baits.
  6. The Burst is a real good lookin' reel. Let us know how it treats you.
  7. I have two Powell baitcasting rods and they are more than worth their price. They are light, strong and sensitive. That said, I have been pretty impressed just handling the Crucials while in various bait shops.
  8. After it warms up a bit the topwater is a great idea. Get there really early though. I have caught bass all over Kentucky on a Baby Bass Zara Spook. For right now I would try Texas Rigging a watermelon Zoom U-Tail. Just a couple of things that work for me.
  9. I use Gamakatsu trebles in the Round Bend style. My local Wal-Mart sells them so they are easy for me to get ahold of. They are plenty sharp and plenty strong.
  10. I have fish tubes both with and without extensively now for two years solid. I do seem to get bit more when using rattles.
  11. My favorite at the moment is the Lucky Craft RC 1.5 in the Purple Perch color.
  12. I have been pretty fortunate. I estimate I have only lost at most, approx. 15 bucks in a single trip.
  13. That is awful. C'mon...she was fifteen years old and took her moms car without permission. Nobody deserves what she got for kicking off her shoes like that.
  14. Stasher has got it right. I have owned that Pro Qualifier rod and its light, tough and really sensitive. I have heard great things about the new Pro Qualifier reels too.

Holy Crap Burley!!! I have a white Pure Poison and if I do not catch any fish off of it this year, its a good as yours. Not that you need it or anything...
  16. I own a couple myself. The reels are easily as solid as the Revo's I used to own. There is not a better looking reel out there. Add solid performance on top of that and you have a real winner. My favorite thing about the reel is the dual braking. It is a nice change after fighting with finicky Garcias. The centrifugal brake is plenty enough on its own. Throw in the magnetic brake for fine tuning and you end up with an awesome reel.
  17. It probably is a nice toilet cleaner. That stuff does work pretty well on all that is shiny.
  18. Man, that is one awesome collection.
  19. I use it on my guitars and it shines them up real nice.
  20. I am game for that. I suck at jig fishing. The only think I have ever caught one is a 10 inch bass and a 5 lb. flathead catfish. Catching some fish on a jig is one of my goals for this year.
  21. Those pictures are beyond brutal. Holy crap!!! My eyes are watering so bad.
  22. I broke a heavy wire Jig hook with 17 lb. CXX. I couldn't break it with my arms so I wrapped it around my body and just started doing circles. I felt something give and that something happened to be the hook. It was a 1/2 oz. Booyah Jig if I remember correctly.
  23. I am looking forward to your review. They seem to be solid reels. I would like to see Quantum turn their bad reputation around.
  24. I have two Powell Max's and at 140 bucks they are awesome.
  25. The stuff is crazy strong. I have really struggled to break 8 lb. test after getting hung up.
