  1. I was fortunate enough to be watching the news the evening they ran the story. It was one of the most hilarious things I have ever seen. "I wanna know where da gold at!!" Sadly enough that is a good depiction of Mobile :-[ I think the sketch they had of the leprechaun was sold on ebay.
  2. If you are fissing a lake on the Coosa river chain, I have a few suggestions. Drop shot bite is real hot right now at creek mouths. Net bait's finnesse worm in Alabam craw seems to be the ticket. We have had a lot of luck with white cranks that have a splatter black back and a yellow bottom. My favoite is a lucky craft RC 2.l5DD in MS American shad. Sexy shad colors work well too. For topwater, it is hard to beat Zara spooks G-finish blue shad. Good luck, it may be tough fishing from all the rain last weekend. Let us know how you do.
  3. That is a beauty!
  4. Catt, I hope you take this as a compliment because it is meant as such. Whenever I read your posts I can't help but think of Hank Hill from King of The Hill. I bet you are a super cool guy to fish with!!
  5. Nice one, Senile1. I love fat girls ;D
  6. I don't know how you guys wait that long to fish :-? Nice job, LBH.
  7. Thanks guys. I went back out yesterday evening and twice today and I did not even get a bite. The rain and wind did not help much either. At least the rain jacket works good
  8. You guys mopped up.

  12. Great job! That pontoon looks like it would be lots of fun.
  13. What a great way to start a weekend. I got to a nearby pond today just before day break. Since it was windy I chose a white/ chart cavitron buzzbait. I started throwing around grass lines in a little cove that is about 4' deep. On my 5th cast I got this beauty just a few feet from shore. She was 23.5" inches and she KILLED the bait and put up a great fight. She got me back though. As I knelt down to revive her, my hand slipped in goose sh*! and I went face first into the water. Than she swam a few feet down the bank and looked like she was about to roll on her side. I got in the water to grab her when I slipped on clay and went in to my waist. The commotion must of scared her because she swatted her tail and took off. It was so great to watch her take off. I guess she may have went close to 8# based on her length. Sorry for the picture quality, I was excited and my hand was shaky. I think a celebration is in order
  14. Sounds like a fun day!
  15. I can't imagine how awesome it would have been to see them in person during the glory days. They are the best band ever
  16. I had a root canal done 15 years ago and had a crown put on. I have never had any problems with it. The most painful part is having novicane injected in the roof of your mouth. I swear that needle feels like it is 4' long. Make sure you get some gas.
  17. I'll take 3 chicken chalupas and 3 soft tacos.
  18. That sounds like a great day.
  19. Thanks again for all the advice. Hopefully, I will mop up next time
