Keep an eye on this site. As snapper season opens they will have more charter boat captains advertise on the site. Keep an eye on the classifieds as some people list "fill a charter" so you can buy two seats on a charter trip of say 8-10 people so you don't have two pay $2k to go out in a more private setting. http://al.rodngun.com/ You may also want to google gulf shores or orange beach or fort morgan charter boat for some listings. Have fun! This is a great area to fish. The abundance of offshore wrecks and oil platforms has created a terrific fishery for snapper, grouper, AJ, kings, etc..

I haven't been since Friday. I'm starting to get a little itchy

It is understandable in smaller spots that there will be some crowding. I hate to be crowded so I make sure I do not crowd other people. I always like to ask if they mind if I fish there if they are there first.

Once the Superbowl is over, the fishing should be on fire here in just a matter of weeks. 8-)

I do not know much but a lot of people put in at cliff's landing off 225 North of Spanish Fort. The fish river is another place to try. Spinnerbaits and junebug lizards and worms seem the most popular. However, most fish seem to be under 2#. If you are willing I would love to learn this area and would be glad to share the cost of gas. Please PM me if you would like to get together. I live about 15 minutes from the new Bass Pro. The Mobile register usualy gives some reports on this area. Also, another site lists reports for the delta.

For many years I used Trilene XL. I have recently experimented with P-line evolution, suffix siege, and suffix elite. I have yet to try braid.

I like this site year round.

I'll take firehouse with roast beef and turkey on toasted bread with mayo, lettuce, onion, tomato, onion, italian dressing. Subway sucks ;D Publix makes a good sandwich too.

Jimmie-O--We fish between Pratville and Wetumpka. There are a lot of good spots in this stretch. However, they can be very hard to track down some days. Those guys sure do fight.
