I am seeking some advice for a friend who is looking for a new rod to throw mostly senkos. He would also like to use it for light t-rig, light jigs, and occasionaly a frog. He is looking at the 7'5 MH senko cast mossyback or the 7'5 MH GLX . I know these are very subjective questions, but your input is greatly appreciated. Is the GLX significantly more sensitive and lighter than the mossyback? Do you think it is worth the extra $140?

Looks like I will have to wait on this rod or find something else. Cabela's is backordered, TW does not know when they will get more, and Kistler said it could be a month before an order could be filled. :'(

I am thinking of getting a new set up for throwing senkos, light texas rigs, flukes, ikas, and unweighted frogs. Do you have any thoughts or experience with this combo or either item individualy? I am open to suggestions if you think another item would make a better setup. Thanks, guys. I think I remember you saying you like duck hunting. Maybe you could check with Duck's unlimited or other hunting organizations to see if they offer scholarships. Check with BASS too. Have you decided on a major or career field? If so, you could contact corporations in that field to find out if they offer scholarships. Good luck. I can guarantee that you will find something with a 4.0 and a 27+ on the ACT and quite possiby a full ride. I am very thankful that Georgia has the Hope Scholarship program because it saved me more than $25,000. I wish more states had this lottery based program.

Just looking for some input from fellow topwater junkies. The spook and spook jr are my two favorite lures and have helped me catch a lot of LM and spots this year. I always hear great things about the Sammy and I was just wondering how they compare to the spook. Is the motion the same, is one louder, or easier to "walk." What color do you like best? Thanks for your input.
