I think I will keep fishing 8-) Winter is a really good time to catch trout and reds in the river here. I will still make time for our little green friends.

You could compare and contrast our current economic situation with previous economic downturns(i.e. great depression, carter admin, late 80's, and now). Than discuss how the government adressed the problem and highlight how the market recovered after each.

I have been checking the dow frequently today and I am amazed by how much it has shifted. Down almost 700 at opening than up by 60 something and now back down by 128. I really wish I had some spare change to throw in the market.

I like the sexy shad pattern or a variation there of. I also like a pearl body with black splatter on top and yellow on the battom.

I have had problems as well, but I have not tried using a weighted hook. I think I will just use the few I have left. It is a shame because these things cause a lot of commotion and I did catch some fish. I think I would have a lot more success if they ran properly. Some ran better than others in the pack I have.

I like Norman's, strike king, and bandit.

I fish all year. The boat ride is the only bad part.

I went out this morning with my Dad and had a very nice time using Brent's frogs. We did not get to stay long because the old man was feeling under the weather. It was a beautiful morning in the low to mid 60's with a very light wind. I managed to catch 5 in a little over an hour, but I missed several nice blowups. Here are two of the bigger fish.
