  1. It'll stop eventually. Suffix is better though and uk it, power pro feels like it is to stiff. I do like the Fireline braid, wish i went with a 30# instead of 50# it seems to heavy.
  2. Can you order these through your website?
  3. I was going to buy an xbox but ended up getting an avid and curado :-/. Although at school my roommate had one and I would tear COD up. Maybe next year I can play. The new modern warfare come out in the fall ;D
  4. Or some lobsters
  5. Green because it was the only one available to me at the time. I dont think it really matters too much, I would say green for most situations unless the water you fish is clear enough to drink.
  6. try to get $90 for a rod and do either a compre or Mojo. Once you find a size you want ask on the forum if anyone wants to sell a rod. I have gotten great deals on barely used rods. You could probably get a $150 rod for 80-90 if you're patient
  7. The internet has helped me in many aspects. Not only through knowledge but also information on equipment. This has been huge for me, sure I can go to the store and feel a fishing reel and it could be smooth but if many people found it to break fast I can go check ratings and ask people. Tackletour, basspro, and cabelas have all provided me with great ratings on equipment that has helped me choose it. Also had I not run into this forum I would never have found Yo Zuri, KVD L&L, and possibly Shimano.
  8. x2 on still in the pond. I am letting her grow, and don't want to catch her yet...It's called strategy
  9. Well i am a sucker for pretty looking boats, shes gorgeous.
  10. It would work fine, I have it on my Crankbait set up and it does just fine.
  11. Braid, 20-30# Suffix. Casting is easier because the line is thinner and IMO i found it easy to learn a baitcaster on braid. Also for those applications braid is a good choice.
  12. I just use the line spool box by plano. Works fine, spray KVD L&L every 10-15 turns. And when spooling hold the line before with your fore fingers to add a little pressure.
  13. Use the 6# yo zuri, it casts great and sometime when I get stuck on a log it is a PITA to break because it just doesn't want to.
  14. ;D STX or SX. I wanna put one on my truck to use as a winch
  15. Try 12lb, it works great for me. A little more manageable and casts further yet still has strong breakage rating

x2 on the zellamander. Also try the Strike King Iguana
  17. Well then you give him one. Win win situation. He gets a nice new rod, you get your rod back everyone is happy.
  18. If you have a basspro shops or cabelas near you. Go there and look at spinning combos. Talk to the friendly people behind the desk they will love to help you. Give them a price point and have them show you different combos. A good size for rod would be 6'6", as this is a perfect starting rod. As for a reel, a 2500 is a typical size. The people will most likely show you house brand combos which are fine starting combos, just make sure they are on sale. If there is no basspro or cabelas near you, then go look at Dicks sporting goods, there is a decent abu garcia combo for a good price. If you can give a price point to us we can point you to specific rods and reels. After finding a combo follow this to every period...http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1158577137. You will catch fish. And then in the meantime you can hang out here and learn more and more as time goes on.
  19. 20# or 30# Suffix Braid. Light enough to let the worm move freely yet strong enough for some heavy cover.
  20. he can do both and have two rods .
  21. Ask here on the forum, I just bought a crucial flipping stick for $120 and someone had offered me a Kistler for $125.
  22. The thing is bigger than he is lol. Anyway catching one like that as your first bass will be a memory of a lifetime.
  23. x2. I was throwing a senko the other day on a crucial and with complete slack line I could feel the bluegills hitting the thing. Very light and sensitive. Not to mention has a great warranty as well.
  24. Bingo. 90% of the time it works every time.
