Fingerprinted
I completely understand why you wouldn't want them on file. My brother was in a situation like this...he was applying to be a city cop and they had an interview where they asked tons of questions, they then invited him to be hooked up to a polygraph. He refused. What they would do is ask similar questions and once they get a lie on one of them, then you are in the system and won't be hired by many other government funded programs. So once you're in the system they can track you, any slip ups and you already have a record. The question that would have got him was...would you turn in a family member for breaking a law.

Topwater rod........help?????
I would say a 7'3"-7'6" MH or H, If you plan to be on top of weeds, a heavier rod will make life a little bit easier.

Fishing new water
I will start with shore cover, and drop offs. Then will look at local spots. The first time out I would beat the bank but graph the bottom also just to find ledges and points

Ooo it'll be close. I got a ford tauras wagon to haul my boat and she is hurting. Try finding a friend with a boat and see if it will work, if not then looks like you are going truck shopping

Have a tourn. ?
To solve the problem of hooking up just try clipping the hook point. The fish will still hold on long enough for you to realize the approximate size. And she will be there for you when you come back.

Are the Wings cooked?
I definitely thought red wings would come out hot, I think they are a little cocky and need to change that around really quick. They got crosby hurting, they just need to put some rubber between the pipes. Game is still up for grabs

10" Worms - When? How?
I would say wait a bit, but be careful if you have a heavy weight cause they'll feel it. That is why I like the carolina rig for the big worms. they can grab it and swim with it and not feel the weight, also worm has a weightless work with all the benefits of weight. Just slowly drag it across points on hot summer days

Spinnerbaits on a MH Avid?
It will handle spinnerbaits perfectly. I have the 7MH and it works great. A medium might be better. Also I use it as a jig and worm and buzzbait. Well actually pretty much anything because I will walk the shore with only one rod and it will do everything.

"presentation" from the bank
x3. Today I saw a bass cruising out deeper, casted out 10ft behind it, had a loud splash the thing whipped around and bolted at the tube and whamm.
-
Is a 6" tube too big?
Haha. Smaller tubes=More fish=Smaller Fish Bigger tubes (or any bigger lure)=Less fish=Bigger fish

Do you care what you look like when your out fishing?
On the lakes i fish women are actually pretty common! I just saw one this past weekend in a HUGE bass boat(about 21ft) custom painted in pink with lightning airbrush work done. It had all black and pink painted interior. And to top it all off, she was flippin' grass mats like a pro! I almost fell in love at first site, LOL!!!!!!!!!! Welll... did you get them digits? That would be one heck of a girlfriend, no need to beg to go fish.

I Got the fever, Just bought a Bait caster.....I'm lovin it!!
BS, no wayy 100 yards is mad far...300ft. Most people cant cast that far period, let alone hit a half dollar. KVD couldnt do that. As for your combo, you'll get addicted to the baitcaster and will want a new one and so on until you have about 30 combos

Drop shot knot help!
That will do it.

Shimano Stradic MG 3000 vs. 2500, significant difference?
Yeah I think you will be fine. Difference between 2500 and 4000 is pretty noticeable. But 2500 and 3000 should be too bad.

Starting my 10 year old with his first pole.
I would say use a spinning reel, its not a child's reel like a zebco and not a difficult reel like a baitcaster. He's ten and this would be the best option to start him with, easy to learn while still has great performance. JMO

Re: LOOKING FOR NEW BAITCASTER
Revo Sx or STX, or a curado, or look at the old tour edition or new energy by quantum.

Is fishing relaxing (semantics debate)?
Being on the water is relaxing, nature is relaxing, fishing with a worm and a bobber for bluegill is relaxing. Bass fishing is more work, but I think certain work can be mentally relaxing. Like when you tie on a new bait after not catching anything for awhile and it gets bit a few times. I find that relaxing because after stressing on not catching anything you finally get something and you feel as if you are accomplished.
