  1. Nice fish and pics. I wish we had a lake around here that had grass and pads like that.
  2. Thats a nice fish!! Congrats.
  3. I use mostly 3/8-1/2. There are many conditions that change this from wind to structure like grass. When I fish a jig I like to feel the jig work on the bottom. If the wind kicks up then I will have to go to a heavier jig. There are other situations as bass heavily feeding that I will throw a heavier jig to be able to fish faster and still get that depth. Most of the time this is when the fish are shallower around 5 fow. It really comes down to what the fish are doing. If its a light bite throw a small light finesse jig. Heavy enough to feel what the jig is doing. This is were experience, attention, and good tackle come into play.
  4. I use a Palomar knot with braid and the brush jig. I'm throwing 60lb 832 braid.
  5. Nice catching. I'd like to see those pictures from that trip!!
  6. Nice fish!! I really like the expression on your face. Looks like your saying BAM!!
  7. I've never thrown Red Label but I do fish a lot of Inviz X. It is completely different the braid or mono. It takes some getting use too. Especially in high lb strengths.
  8. Sorry It took so long to answer. I'm going to be adding colorado blades also. I have them here I just need to update the site.
  9. Thanks, I havent advertised them yet but they are tungsten. Either the Flipping Weight or Bullet Weight. I offer two colors Black or Dark Green Pumpkin. They are powder coated for durability.
  10. Hey Dpeels37354 I only use quality parts. The Cosmics are built with Brass Blades that are nickle plated and all the parts are Worth. The swivel is made by Sampo Swivels. Then I top it off with an Owner Spinnerbait hook. Paint is a powder coat for durability. The Compact is built with a Mustad Ultra Point hook and all the same parts as the Cosmic but down sized for a more compact profile. For both styles I offer a wire ties for the skirt or banded.

  14. potatoes, sweet potatoes, and garlic are in the ground and growning. Hopefully soon I can get the jalapenos and tomatoes out there.
  15. I will go after most hang ups no matter what the lure is. But with that said, I do not Risk the props, boat, motor. Just to fix dints and dings in a prop is 150 approx. That is a lot of lost shaky heads, cranks, etc. Years ago. Probably 20. Ouch!! I was watching a Bill Dance video and he showed how to pop most lures off a hang up by using the line and rod to pop most hang ups free. It works about 75-80% of the time.
  16. I voted round. My favorite feature is a flat bottom on the head. I cant really tell any difference in the two when I fish them. Especially in the real light weights.
  17. That will make 2 great fillets!!! Congrats.
