How small? I modified a pair by filing a cut in the bottom section of the pliers to hold the ring.

I fish them mostly 2 ways. On a jig or a shaky head.

7'-7'6" is what I use for lake smallie fishing. Same rods I use for largemouth.

I just added 1/8,5/16, and 3/8 in the Extreme Shaky head.

The problems I've run into when trying this is the powder makes the resin brittle due to incomplete bonding. If you figure it out I'm interested also.

I rig it just like a craw on a non swim jig. I guess that would be horizontal.

Its a special mold. I dont think you could modify a do it to work. I epoxy the weedgaurds. I feel its the best way to do it and strongest.

I use my 7'3" XHVY Jig rod that is set up with braid for froggin. Works great. I dont think a buzzbait would work well on it.

Very True, Especially if they are wet. Mike, I put mine in a 3700 plano just like you but I put all the dividers in them and separate each jig.
