Thanks and personal safety is always a primal priority. I use this (and all) equipment as it's intended and stay within the safe working loads recommended by the manufacturer. I assembled this equipment myself and do perform routine maintenance as necessary. As for the sounds heard during it's operation; all equipment is bound to have some especially when working under a decent load. Additionally, part of what is heard there is the sound of the plates clanging together, and that is truly music to my ears. A-Jay
