  1. There is the slightest possibility that there could be a few digitally enhanced submissions to this one. "Off the Pole, through the tire, between the stumps, under the lily pad, off the big guy's face and in the cup." A-Jay
  2. The Berkley Hollow Belly Swim Bait and solid body Power Bait Flat Back Shad on a 1/2 oz and 3/4 oz Owner Salt water Bullet jig head have accounted for more plus size fish on my local waters than every bait I throw (except a jig & Craw of course). I would encourage you to look up the articles written by Doug Stange of In-Fisherman on the subject. There are a ton of them. Using Casting or Spinning gear, this is an extremely versatile and effective presentation on both Green & Brown Bass (along with just about every other game fish in the system.) Good Luck A-Jay
  3. Jerk bait ~ A-Jay
  4. The DD22 HD may be worth looking into. Being a bit heavier, it casts effectively which could translate to making & holding the advertised running depths. Since these came out, my standard DD22's have been by and large Dry. A-Jay
  5. Set your rig and home charging station up so removing & charging the batteries each trip is as painless as possible. You may want to have 2 set of batteries so the first set is charging while the second set is in use. A couple of quick clips on the business end of your boat's battery wires might be in order. A-Jay
  6. I'm running a 55lb thrust MK on this Old Town Square back. (15' 3") Loaded with two Humans, two batteries (31's) and a decent pile of gear, 4.0 is max cruising speed. Though extremely stable, the 40 inch beam and chopped off stern do reduce the speed & mpg. A-Jay

  9. Never does a man portray his own character more vividly than in his manner of portraying another's. That was weak. A-Jay
  10. You beat me to the punch Dwight. So I'd say that swim baits could be a search bait - you just have to search quite a bit slower. A-Jay
  11. True to size - A-Jay
  12. This statement sums it up for me. A-Jay
  13. Though nicely packaged, that willow blade appears to be wildly oversized; looks like a flasher. I doubt the bait will even fish correctly. I fish spinner baits deep quite often and in order for the bait to fish effectively while maintain depth, there must be a balanced combination of bait & blade shape / size. Slightly undersized blades and slightly heavier baits are routinely more effective for me. A-Jay
  14. Lathering up your presentation with a quality scent is a good idea for a few reason. Of course the obvious is to hopefully convince your quarry that your phony bait is something they should hold onto long enough for you to get a decent hook up. With lubricating properties, it also helps your rig slip into, through and out of tight quarters. And if you are a fisher of swim baits, this same lubrication may also help your baits last a little longer by causing less damage to the bait during the hook set. I use Pro-Cure This product comes is over 50 "Flavors" for both fresh & saltwater applications. I'm partial to the "Trophy Bass" scent. A-Jay
  15. These will always be the Best Days. A-Jay
  16. I wear two different models of the Bugaboot. A High top Black and a mid-height Camo pattern ~ both Great products. They work for me down to zero or 20 below, then I have to go to something else. A-Jay
  17. Agreed - And the Boston Patriots were quite skilled at being Wicked Bad . . . . . A-Jay

  20. Perhaps - but does the Way one loses play a role ? Certain teams just seem to find new and particularly Humiliating ways to go down. A-Jay

  24. Granted the Colts run D is not exactly Stout, but still Six TD's scored and Zero TD Passes ~ I'd say the running game was pulling it's weight in this one. A-Jay
