I've been there a time or two. My 'solution or cure ' is to fish for another species entirely. Panfish or especially Crappie, fits the bit nicely for me. Usually plenty of bites, many of them fairly subtle too. Then when I go back to bass, the strike often feels like the rod blew up in my hand. Give it a try. Good Luck A-Jay

Until recently, like the past two years or so, I had a decent collection. However that aspect of my arsenal sees numbers that are significantly less. Relative term. Sold them off and it felt good. My HB screens are 10 inch and flush mounted at both the bow & the console. But from my seat at the console, when stowed on deck for running, my trolling motor gear definitely obscures some of my field of view over the port bow. I'm always looking over & around it for whatever. (this camera angle is high & somewhat deceptive). Stay Safe A-Jay
