Graphite Chatterbait Rod
Why the 10lb line ? Seems on the lighter side to me for what is usually a fairly stout hook on most bladed jigs. A-Jay

Lund 1875 Pro-V Bass - Solo Launch & Recovery (video)
Took a few minutes before & after today’s adventure on Lake Menderchuck to video the solo launch & recovery of the Lund 1875 Pro-V Bass boat. Sliding it on & off the ShorLand’r Trailer with the Ultimate Bunk Boards and a little help from the Minn Kota Talons, is simple & safe. A-Jay

Heck of a final day so far ~ Justin Lucas is on FIRE here in the last 20 minutes of the 2nd period. Starting to walk away from the field at this point. If yesterday taught us anything it that It's Never Over - Not with this format and it's Too Early. #dropshotiskillingit A-Jay

"Upgrade your Split Rings". Yeah right. Whatever...
Oval and pear shaped rings at the line tie seemed to have reduced that for me to a point where I don't even think about it any more. A-Jay

what unpopular lure do you use?
@Hillbilly BennettNot doing anything special. Work it like a jerkbait - include a pause. The bait's magic seems to be that 'shimmy & roll' that it does on the pause. I like to let it sit motionless for a good spell about half way through the cast. Strikes routinely occur soon after I resume the retrieve. I throw it on spinning gear with light braid & a long mono leader. Changing the hooks is a must. Some places where I fishing it over weeds I have to use a wire leader in front of it because pike love the thing. Especially early & late season. That's it. A-Jay

Bass guys outfishing Musky guys for Musky
I catch a few Musky each season. Not out fishing anyone as these are all by catch deals. I've caught them on baits of various sizes & colors including but perhaps not limited to: Spinnerbaits, Swimbaits, Swimjigs, Crankbaits, Lippless Baits, Blade baits, Jigs, and even Texas rigged plastics. This one ate a jerkbait while fishing for brown bass ~ A-Jay
