  1. I've been using this one from Cabelas to haul / launch my canoe for several years - very decent. https://www.cabelas.com/product/boating/canoes-kayaks-small-boats/storage-transportation/pc/104794380/c/104710680/sc/104608080/cabelas-kayak-canoe-cart/1947990.uts?slotId=9 A-Jay
  2. WOW ~ That's A TANK ! PB's are Always a Blast Welcome to the 11 lb club. Congrats A-Jay
  3. Rattle or no rattle ~ There are some situations where one may be a bit better than the other. I've had success with both in the same situations on more than a few occasions. Perhaps checK out the 6th Sense Crush 50X and 100X Squarebills. Designed for crashing thick shallow cover, ripping out of grass, cranking rocks, or just burning in open water, it dives to 5 feet. Comes stock with quality hardware and a premium paint scheme with realistic 3-D gill plates, 3-D eyes, and 3-D scales really brings this bait to life. The new Backwater Bluegill pattern is Sick. My personal favorite aspect of these baits is it's Faint Rattle Chamber - Creates light knocking sounds. Sort of the best of both worlds. https://6thsensefishing.com btw - the 6th Sense Crush Flat 75X Squarebill offers all the same features and REALLY EXCELS in cooler water. A-Jay

  9. There's quite a bit of information and debate regarding battery types, as well as different charger types & sizes. Unfortunately there is NO One answer - one must consider the type / size of batteries they have (Wet Cell, AGM batteries etc) and how they plan on using it. I will tell you that when making my own choice, I wanted a reliable, quality & safe product that would recharge my units quickly & effectively. As well as one that was built & backed by a solid company with a long standing & favorable reputation. Looking at what is/was available when making my choice ~ this is the direction I went. http://www.dualpro.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/PS4b-insert.pdf - I'm glad I did. A-Jay
  10. Traditionally - one bank per battery. An additional one would be needed to charge the cranker. So if you have a 24 volt Trolling motor - and you want to charge the cranker, a three bank charger would be what you want. A-Jay
  11. Battery type / size can drive charger selection. You'll have to decide what best suits for your needs. In my version, 4 Quality Batteries are $$$, a high quality recharging unit is a solid investment. A-Jay
  12. I vote Dual Pro. And do yourself a favor - get sufficient banks to also charge your cranking battery. You'll be glad you did. A-Jay
  13. That's pretty Crazy - What's totally funny & a bit Ironic is - Just 2 years ago we had to wait until the 3rd week of April to even Legally fish for bass here - and some years it'd be another week after that before the ice out anyway. But now, since it's all season C&R, we're complaining if it's still iced up in March ! We have problems . . . . A-Jay

  18. I can not effectively express just how tired of this unseasonably long hard water season I am. At this point I'm firmly stuck in an eternal Limbo status - nothing to do but wait it out. Oh and this just in - Blizzard this weekend ~ Calling for a foot of snow. Guess I'll be waiting some more . . . . . . . A-Jay

  20. Sometimes ~ I'm fishing very clear water most times. And while color plays 'a role' - it may not be the most important factor when determining if I get bit or not. A bait's size, profile, Running depth, speed & action all seem like things I need to get right as well. Most times, if I keep the color mostly muted & natural (with a little Chartreuse & or Orange) and focus on the Bold text, I do OK. A-Jay
  21. When I'm presenting swimjigs for smallies here, it's almost always in & around shallow to mid depth cover. Depending on the season & the body of water, there's usually at least a few, yellow perch, bluegill & or pumpkinseed in the area as well. That drives my swimjig size, color/pattern & trailer choice.
