  1. Go back in time and add 4 or 5 inches to Tommy Biffle's shorts - Please. A-Jay
  2. My Grandfather - a particularly proud & amazing Man, displayed the confidence, pride & inner strength that comes from being a truly good man & living a good life. Didn't understand it really as a younger human, just knew it was there. As time went on I came to admire it. The man had little to say but when he was inclined to pass something on, he chose his words wisely and he meant every one. I listened. The term Good Man, has virtually no meaning now; is of considerably less importance, and may be seeing very few men striving to be one. In fact the term Man itself, one could argue is not nearly as defined as it once was. Sort of like a completed pass in the NFL - A-Jay

  18. @Craig Sellers ~ I mentioned this in another thread, but it bears repeating. Know that while doing their thing, the Talons place a decent amount of stress on mounting hardware and the transom itself. Accordingly, regardless of what it takes to gain access to the back of the transom - your mounting hardware really needs to be through bolted. Talon mounting hardware NOT through bolted, has a very good chance of loosening over time or even pulling out. The install is pretty straight forward with back-side transom access often being the biggest challenge. A-Jay
  19. Even if access is a concern, I'd highly recommend a through bolt & back plate right there. Otherwise, they Will Pull Out. A-Jay

  21. I have just the opposite perception on 'finesse' type rigs; and this includes most any & all light line and somewhat stealthy, light or no weight presentations including drop shot. Rather than using them After I've exhausted other methods, or after I've alerted a particular group of fish or a piece of structure / cover to my presentence, especially in clear water or when fishing pressured fish, if I think it's the deal, I throw the finesse rig First. This has proven to be a decent way to pluck out the largest (or wariest) bass out of a spot before she can get wise to my presence. If I beat the water to a froth first thing by machine gunning a "sizzle" plopper (That was for you @Team9nine) through it for 20 minutes, not even a chicken rig can undo that. End result - I'm toast. A-Jay
  22. Me too ~ But I stopped talking about it a few years ago. A-Jay
