  5. C Hogan is a route running, pass catching Freak ! But he's got some Kay - Razy Marty Feldman eyes - the bigger they get, the better he plays . . . A-Jay
  6. As mentioned - that bait essentially utilizes the "spinning blade" as the trailer. Remember that the blade displaces water similar to what a typical action type trailer (swimming grub, boot tail, etc) will do. Adding this type of plastic trailer to the shank, which also will displace water, would not allow either to function as you'd expect as they would both be 'fighting' for the same water. I'd recommend using one or the other; but not both. A-Jay
  7. I'll admit to thoroughly enjoying that one. And for fans of other teams - if this was your team headed to the Superbowl - you'd be loving it . . . . . Go Pats ! A-Jay

  12. I'm in the slower reel preference myself. 5 Speed reels are the way for me when throwing most cranks & big bladed spinnerbaits. I have a 3.8 reel (old Qunatum) and it's just TOO SLOW for anything I fish. Works the baits OK I guess but once I hook-up it's next to impossible to catch up to a spirited bass coming at me. Costs me fish so now it sits on the shelf as a nice "display" A-Jay

  18. Good Luck on your search - I will not watch that human. Not a fan. A-Jay
  19. I can't recommend anything better than Huddleston, at least nothing that's like a 68. But there are several smaller baits - like the SK rage swimmer for instance that come in a smaller size & is very good. A-Jay
  20. Yes there are a few companies that make baits that are sort of 'like' a Huddleston. But IMO none that Catch Like a Huddleston. What size & type bait are you looking for ? A-Jay
  21. I define "a Problem" in my fishing as either something that I don't understand and/ or I can't solve or control - So there's a few of those. How about the weather, other boaters, Fish Location & Mood, the price of gas, and Father time. That's enough for now. A-Jay
  22. So is that like "phone a Fish" then . . . . ? A-Jay
  23. A-Jay replied to RichF's topic in Tournament Talk
Nice fish but I'll admit to being a little confused. A-Jay
  24. "Take it outside" is what I often hear. A-Jay
