Trigger Happy Comfort Grips?
I have not used this product nor do I know of anything else out there like it. TT did a nice review of both the casting & spinning versions. http://www.tackletour.com/reviewtriggerhappy.html Personally, I've never felt this was a much of a concern on either rig. Probably won't be using this one. A-Jay

Leader length and size?
Hello Steve and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ A Braid & leader deal is used in quite a bit of my bass fishing and has been for a while. As for leader length & size, besides simple personal preference, there are a few factors to consider. Length - After a ton of trial & error, I've settled on a leader length that during the cast, the connection knot stays off the reel. Meaning I do not want that knot passing through the reels line guide. So a length that has that knot sitting just in front of the reel while having the appropriate length hanging from the rod tip to cast effectively, is what I'm happy with. Not having the connection knot whip through the line guide over & over seems to increases it's longevity. This length differs depending on rod length. On Spinning gear this is never a concern and I go with 10-15 footers all the time. Size - Depends a lot on the presentation & cover conditions but generally I like a leader that's close to the size (diameter) of the main line. Although the leader is often slightly larger by comparison, having a huge difference is less desirable. For the 20lb braid you mentioned, the largest leader I'd go with is 12lb. btw - 20lb braid can be a little tricky on casting gear. By bumping it up to 30lb, you gain some line management advantages but will not loose much in the way of casting distance; all the other benefits of the braid will remain the same. Good Luck A-Jay

Few Canoe Buying Question
I fish out of an Old Town Predator square back canoe (this model has been discontinued model). As Goose mentioned it's 15'6" long with a 40" beam - here a link to the stats http://www.oldtowncanoe.com/canoes/sporting/predator_ss150/ It's VERY Stable and I've been standing while fishing for 7 season, not a problem. BUT - it's 113 pounds. This weight & width contributes to it's stability but it's not really something one wants to be hoisting in & out of a truck. Can be done but it's tough by yourself. I use a small trailer which makes it very convenient. Additionally, my wife & I fish out of it all the time & it's quite suitable for two adults & "some" gear. I run a 55 lb Minn Kota transom mounted trolling motor than moves the craft well. I have a small Hummingbird 365i sonar/gps which is all powered by two 12v (mod 31) batteries. They last A-While. I use one to run around & fish with and the second to get me back to the launching point. Below is a video of a decent smallie that hit right at the boat - I'm posting it as one way to actually see the stability of the canoe in action. The fight was a little hectic. The canoe & the camera bounced around a little but clearly there was nothing close to a capsize. Finally as for standing in a canoe - I will say that I have spent a good portion of my adult life "on the water" so The Sea Legs do come into play. https://youtu.be/C-83rwD5EL8?t=12s A-Jay

Where do you need to improve ?
X2 ~ There's little doubt in my mind that you'll be glad you did. If you're around them, it's a done deal. Nose hook for fishing around little to no cover & Tex-pose with a 2/0 - 3/0 ewg for when it's not. "Get the net". A-Jay

little lure ---> BIG BASS
Great Bass ~ Congrats. As mentioned above, guesses are fun but to little do provide an accurate record of your catch. Experience has shown that bass ALWAYS weight more without a scale or right before you put them on one. A-Jay
