  1. Personnaly - I'm not a fan. I believe Competition is good and Monopolies are bad. A-Jay
  2. Several "Decent" ones right there ~ Looks like you were on them good. Congrats A-Jay
  3. Got out today for what will be my last trip this season. The sun was shining bright keeping the air temps pleasant and the wind was blowing like it always seems to do here in the fall. The past few days have been nice and I've been on the water for each. Plenty of bass to keep it interesting and a mess of walleye for the freezer. All on blade baits. While fishing a 20 ft hump today, a brown submarine ate the bait right at the boat and the fight was on. It was brief but very intense. Between trying to keep her pinned and trying not to fall over the side, it was a pretty hectic 30 seconds. (I may have even used a little colorful language there . .sorry) Weather will be turning more seasonal starting tomorrow but this bass was fun and a good one to put a wrap on the 2015 season. A-Jay
  4. Nice Mess-O- trout. Whenever I see trout on a cutting board, they always look so surprised to be there . . . . . A-Jay
  5. To each his own ~ I like ProVider Tackle 's Performance Tubes. Great clear water colors, very durable and most importantly they get bit . . . A-Jay http://www.providertackle.com/store/index.php?route=product/category&path=66_69
  6. Hello Scott and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ A-Jay
  7. Fishing from the Old Town has been fun and very inexpensive for sure. But it's just time. I've done all I can with it as well as where I've been fishing. Time to broaden my fishing horizons. A-Jay

I been fishing (& working) out in the cold for a long time. And by "Cold" for me than means right at or below 32 degree air temp (with or without wind chill) The characteristics that keep hands warm & dry usually make them tough to fish with. Most gloves that keep you warm & dry that are in the low & medium price bracket are usually a little bulky. Some of the more expensive models (which are close to or past your $60 limit) have managed to blend warm & dry with comfort for fishing. For something other than finesse - neoprene works well & is usually reasonably priced. The Simms G4 - is The Best I've found, unfortunately they are twice the price you noted in your post. 11. Oh Yea ~ kind of forgot about that one . . . . . Maybe overcoming that loss gave them the strength & confidence to win it all. Thanks GB. A-Jay
  12. Be like Mike Iaconelli ~ Never give up. Remember the Pats ~ KC game last season in week ? Pats got Blasted. They couldn't have possibly looked any worse that game. And haven't lost since. (And that Bills game doesn't really count) A-Jay
  13. I vote for the one SPEEDBEAD used . . . . . . A-Jay
  14. I'm in the process of going from a canoe to a motorized vessel myself. Fishing from the Old Town has been fun and very inexpensive for sure. But it's just time. I've done all I can with it as well as where I've been fishing. Time to broaden my fishing horizons. As for "what to Expect" ? I would anticipate the wallet opening up quite a bit more. But you can't take it with you and I've Never seen a hearse with a trailer hitch. A-Jay
  15. Judging by both teams performance this last week and if each team's trend of play continues, I'd like the Pats chances quite a bit. A-Jay
  16. Nice Smallie ~ PB's are Always a Blast ! Congrats A-Jay

This Sun Gaitor from Simms has a contoured shape & cut as well as a ventilated front. These reduce but do not completely eliminate the fogging deal. But it's the best I've tried for those extra heated trips. Worked great in Mexico last June. A-Jay http://www.simmsfishing.com/shop/hats-sunhoods/sungaiter-2.html
  18. I plan on changing my vessel a bit. From this to this A-Jay
