Now I am by no means skinny but I am a fairly big guy at 260lbs. But I exercise regularly and I eat right most of the time. I have always been a big guy. I have a gut but other then that I am mostly muscle. I think this is completley ridiculous!!! Someone needs to fix this!!!!

So you are the one causing me to spend so much money on knives... LOL ;D ;D
  10. I would buy the jon boat. It is more stable and it will not tip as easily as a canoe if you have someone along with you. Ask Rondef about his expeirience with a canoe and he will tell you that sometimes they are unpredictable. Good Luck and be sure to post a pic of your new purchase -Nitroman
  11. You should be careful setting up your batteries as a 24v. If you motor is only rated as a 12v then you may blow up your trolling motor. I know a buddy of mine that did that and he had to replace his trolling motor and they are not cheap!!!! JMPO -Nitroman
  12. I added this onto my boat and I have not been happier!!! They hold my rods during travel and they are easy to use!!! Check out this link http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_97533____SearchResults Hope to help you -Nitroman
  13. ES, When I was using the one that I was given I T-rigged it and I had alot of luck!!!!! -Nitroman
  14. Sounds like you had a terrific time!!!!! -Nitroman
  15. I probably would have moved on as well. In many places that I fish I will only stay in a certain spot for a small amount of time unless I am ON the fish. I do not like waiting around for the fish. Even if I know there are fish in that area I will move on if I cannot get them to bite, I have sat in areas before fishing as a non-boater and I cannot stand sitting in one spot for more then an hour without catching anything. In my opinion moving on was the right thing to do. Maybe other members will be able to shed some light onto this subject.
  16. Great job Tin!!!!!!!!!! -Nitroman
  17. Nice looking crappie!!!! Congrats on having such a great time!!!! -Nitroman
  18. Glad to hear it Ron!!! I'm glad you're back out there!!!! So when are you going to come back out to the lake?? -Nitroman
  19. That is really cool!!! I might even make the trip to richmond to fish the big fish pond. -Nitroman
  20. what i did was i separated the legs with a piece of wire so they were about 2" apart, and then dunked it in boiling water. what this did was reset the plastic in the position the wire had them, fully separated. then when you twitch it thru the water, they kick inward like they are supposed to. Take a pic of it and PM it to me if you can I would like to see what you did.
  21. Let me be the first to tell you that if you are new to the Potomac River no matter where you are fishing this river is one of the most difficult bodies of water that I have ever fished!!! I do not have a big enough boat to get to Nanjemoy Creek due to the waves out on the main river. But I have always wanted to try it out. One thing I should add about the Potomac river is that right now the best fishing you will find is on the grass flats out on the main river. BTW that perch is the perfect size to get out on the main river and take a hook through his back and catch you a big ole catfish like I have in my Avatar... That is how I caught that one. -Nitroman
  22. I would use the 10" in all spots!!! Just because you have only caught small fish in those spots before doesn't mean that there are no big fish there. -Nitroman
  23. X2!!! I still have some problems as well. I think it is funny as hell when I let one of my friends try to drive my boat when they have never done it before!!! -Nitroman
  24. Whether you caught the fish or not its always a good day to get tackle while you are out!!! Nice Fish!!!! -Nitroman
  25. HAHAHA Yes I am -Nitroman
