  1. Nice Looking Fish you got there.
  2. I would have to disagree with you. I have a "gin clear" lake. the deepest part of this 85 acre lake is 35'. There is a large amount of vegatation in the shallows on the shoreline. Almost all the bass we catch out of this lake are dark green, not goldish or pale but the colors on these fish are so deep these fish really are the nicest looking fish I have ever caught. Many other people will say the same thing about this lake. I have caught many larger bass about 7-9 lbs out on this lakes in previous years and they had the same type of markings. I have another pond that has little to no vegatation for the fish and it is about 15 acres big. It is surrounded with trees and you can barely fish from shore. I put my boat in and fish the edges. (This pond is only 4' feet deep at its deepest spots.) I have caught my PB out of this pond at 10.2lbs. The bass in this pond is very murky year round and most of the fish here are paler looking.
  3. I would switch up my baits to something that moves a lot slower. Fish larger baits that are more visible in murky water. Large spinnerbaits with big colorado blades to really move the water chartruese/white/red Large jig w/ trailers darker colors Crankbaits that make a lot of noise anything to help you create the reaction strike Add rattles to a tube and just throw it like a jig and shake it like a jig Carolina rigged works great in this type of situation. Good Luck on your tournament

  5. I agree 100%
  6. Hell I'd go to the bank and overdraw my account for that!!!When are we going??? HAHAHAHAHA
  7. Shaky head lures should still work just fine. When fishing large rocks you will loose alot of lures but as we all know if you are not loosing lures you are not fishing them properly. I would try to throw a crankbaits and bang it of the rocks. Maybe you loose them maybe you don't its all part of the game. I like spinnerbaits when you know that minnows are a good forage for them in the lake. Most of all just because you have a few bad days doesn't mean you should quit all together. I have a private lake that is always productive but when I brag about it and invite people out, it turns to be one of the worst lakes I fish. I don't know why that is but its crazy. Good luck trying to figure this lake out!!!
  8. I like BPS. They seem to be great for me.
  9. It's too bad you didn't catch anything but thats just how it goes! Sounds like you did have a great time though! Congrats!!!
  10. Actually it does work just like a spook. When I watched a guy throw one the other day and I was very impressed with the action. He threw it on mats and just twitched it just like you work a spook. Make sure you have slack in your line before you twitch the lure. I watched him throw this lure for quite some time with no luck but then again that day we didn't get hardly any topwater action. I would buy one but they are a little too expensive for my cheap *** right now. :'(

  17. I feel your pain!!! I had moved out of my fathers house a few years ago but in 2006 when I decided to buy a 4-wheeler I had no place to store it so I left it at his house. I only had it from Jan 06- March 08 and someone decided to sneak into my father's garage and steal my 4-wheeler. Some people are just sick!!!! >
