  1. I'm going to use the rebel big claw in chartruese.
  2. I just received 20 packages of senkos. Have another order going in.
  3. This is the 4th and final blood moon of 14/15. It's going to be the largest and the closest. Since the full moon phase has begun don't wait for the full super blood moon start fishing now. We had four blood moons in 14/15. Vary rare. This could be the fishing frenzy of a lifetime. For info on the blood moon search online. It seems with every blood moon it's connected to something happening on our planet. The ground is rising and the asphalt is melting in Yellowstone at the super volcano. There saying a 1 1/2 mile wide asteroid is headed our way. Planet x is suppose to do a flyby too. I'm not a gambling man so I won't bet the farm on this one. I remember y2k. See ya back here on Monday I hope God bless everyone. Remember bottled water, soap, toilet paper and canned Cornbeef hash.
  4. Rebel crickets, bumble bee, joesfly spinflys, panther Martin silver/yellow fly. Rapala f7 in black or blue. Try a bass scent. I fished a drainage pond in a mall. Small baits. It started out with dinks. After a few years we had 3lbers. You have to have bigger bass there.
  5. I purchased some pike & muskies very large spinnerbaits. Do you add a trailer? Have you used the mister twister super top props? Do you use a inshore spinning outfit?
  6. A 9606 tackle box full of topwater baits, A 9606 tackle box full of crankbaits. My car is close by with a plastics, weedless, frog tackle box. 3-5 rod setups. We have bears, mountainlions, bobcatss, big monster coyote there more like wolves. Night fishing at 4am alone my buddy and his 18 Freinds is with me. I had a bear at my car already. It's the stalking cats I don't like.
  7. Tom your right in pursuit of giant bass by Bill Murphy. I been reading it and find what he says I been doing. It's a good read for anyone who's serious about big bass
  8. I guess I reached old age in my life. I tripped and down I went. Stupid me.
  9. Morphine for back pain. I'm going to sit and just fish.
  10. Overcast, cloudy with rain. Joesfly 1/4oz bass size in firetiger apache. Low light white colors, chartruese colors, firetiger colors can be your best freind. In bomber cranks they offer firecraw color too if you have the room for crankbaits. Kill them with brighter colors. With the full blood moon coming soon on Sunday with the weather front you should see a feeding frenzy.
  11. I'm still hurting health wise. I went to move a tractor with out getting on it she knocked me down and the age tires bruised my ribs that never really healed from a quad accident about 18 years ago. This tractor is cursed it ran me over three years ago. It's the most awesome garden tractor with oversize tires. But she doesn't respect me. I have two steel bottle tanks of 2,000 degrees of liquid wrench. I think I need to imitate her.(torch) Lmao My bigger tractor threw me once when the sharp new duo ice chains grabbed my jeans I must be very careful around machinery And treble hooks. My meds say don't operate machinery do I listen. Lol My point is read and listen to what your med bottles say.
  12. I use a spinnerbait and inline spinner either above the sight line or slow it down till it's below the sight line. Or reel it slower to go deeper using a heavier weight. Or you can yo-yo a spinnerbait. The guys above are right the rate of fall is one foot per second. I've used rapala jointed countdown minnows in ten feet of water jigging them at around 9'. I been fishing since 6yo now I'm 65yo and still learning. We never stop learning.
  13. I like trying different brands. After surviving cancer I can't take my money with me when I leave here. I can fish with anything but I need good quality line
  14. I'm retired, bored and want to tinker around trying different fishing equipment. Just something to do. I like the wave bar line guide. Sometimes I think I was better off with my 70's southbend rod with the chrome eyes and a quantum Wal-Mart reel.
  15. One of my fishing spots is way down.
  16. I'm sorry I'm still sub standard and not accepted. I just like to fish with different older stuff. I do have some quantum code red baitcasters. I can fish with my $12 shakespear baitcaster so I figure I could fish with anything. I still have my $0.99 Chinese baitcasters setup too. Lmao. But they look like clones of the black max.
  17. I use weedless hooks in and near the vegetation I hate cleaning salad off my hooks constantly.
  18. Cattails n pads I run a Mann's classic spinnerbaits along the edges. I cast past my target and bring the bait near them. Otherwise I swear by my 1/8oz brass Carolina rig with a creature, or senkos. The jig is a 24/7/365 all year round bait.
  19. Now we're forgetting the low pitch and high pitch rattles. The bomber crankbaits have smaller diameter balls in them but there are more balls which admits a finer more distinct rattle. There are one knocker rattles too which have one larger ball. The bps topnocker has this one ball knocker. I can actually hear knock even on my farthest casts. It's louder than a dinnerbell on a farm. (Not exactly) Silence, to rattle or to knock that's the question. Don't sweat it squirt the scents and vary your baits. In stained and muddy water a vibration, larger size, a brighter color, a rattle and a scent you covered it all we can't lose. On a slow day throw everything we learned and try something out of the norm. Be flexible. I try to cover it all when I answer. The original Rapala is quiet. Yet it works on sight/movement. I'm going to add with silent baits size and color is the key to success.
  20. I'm a very shy humble person. My thoughts about life have changed since having cancer. Material things mean nothing. Life's about family, family makes us rich.Bigbills quote, take a kid fishing. Pass on this awesome sport to the future generations. Fishing when I was a kid kept me out of trouble.
  21. But when you do fish pour it on brother.
  22. Sometimes a PB can be a curse. My 10lb lmb I was use to dinks to 6lbers being the norm. But after losing bigger and seeing bigger swim by me I say WOW. it's the bigger gals that keep the bass population numbers up.
  23. I would play this guessing game for no reward it's fun. Thanks Glenn for the chance to play.
