  4. I think this rig is going to sweet for me this year.Stacy King loves this rig,I did google Stacy King and the Jika rig and there is alot of info there. And some tank demo's too.It glids alot better compared to the t-rig.I can see the Paca, baby Paca, bevers, swimbaits, ribbon tail worms, lizards,to just namw a few.I can't wait!!!!!!!!
  5. Spinnerbaits=NorthStar Jigs=NorthStar Plastic's=Netbait & Zoom
  6. I was thinking of trying to become a marshell. I have never done this before so,how do I get started? Does the FLW,BASS,BFL,PAA all have the marshelll program? How much does it cost me?
  7. I guide at night and one of my go baits is a 3/4 and a 1oz. football head fished in deep water, weedlines, rock piles, ledges ect.! The bigger the weight in deep water the better the feel you will have and more control to keep it on the bottom. But I SLOW roll the football jig and I mean slow as you can. The bites are wicked HARD.
  8. I know they are almost the same except for the legs. I just thought I would get some input on these two baits. I did pick up the crazy legs in the Bream color and the Chigger in black/blue fleck.Do you guys like one over the other?
  9. I fish a 1/2 or a 3/4oz. weight when i C-rig any bait cranks, worms ect. I fish alot of deep water,at times I will go with a1oz. weight. The bigger the weight the better the feel.
  10. Airboure you are just a pup yet LOL. I wish I was at that age again!! In the summer I am fishing deep weedlines with a big football jig or a C-rig and here are some baits that I fish on the C-Rig= Brush Hog,Zoom flukes,5in.grubs,floating tubes,7in. up to 15in. ribbon tail worms, paddle tail swimbaits,Lizards, french fry and centipedes after a cold front,Bandit Footloose crankbait,Bomber Square A,Rebel wee crawfish,Rapala floating # 7, all these cranks float and it works real well, the one bad thing, sometimes a fish will come un-done.

As a trailer I like the baby Paca. But try this trailer, take a Netbait Dirt Dawg and put it on backwards. So split the legs and enter the hook between the legs and push up the shaft of the hook so now the little legs should come out of the side of the skirt. And I cut the head off that sticks past the hook but you could leave it on it would not hurt. I have fished this on my jigs for two years and the bites seem to be harder with the Dirt Dawg on vs. other trailers! Them skinny paddle tail legs drives them NUTS.
  12. Well, I may have to make it a 12 pack! LOL
  13. thanks, ya, it is the 500 my finger went nuts. Back in the day it did well for me.I will give it to him and maybe get a 6 pack from him! LOL
  14. I agree,I think the 832 is the best braid that I have fished also!
  15. I don't think Lew's make a bad reel!! You could buy me anyone of them and I would be HAPPY!
  16. I have this reel and i don't use it anymore. It is in great shape and my buddy is trying to get me to sell it to him. What would be a fair price??
  17. Zoom for me too! Colors depend on the time of day and water color for me!
  18. I think Bass Pro still sells the black lites! I know they used to sell the Stan Sloan and a few others. I could be wrong.
  19. That sucks with ban on lead but I do understand why they do it to a point! Yes the weed guard on the Flik-It are not too good. But what I did to help it was to put super glue on the weed guard and get it good and wet and where the weed guard goes into the head and the wire also and get it good and wet with the super glue and just let it dry and the weed guard is alot more stiff.
  20. A-RIG!
  21. Also DON'T buy a cheap starter air brush. Buy a good one,the cheap ones don't work that good and they won't last! You can buy a good brush for about $100 up to $300. Take a look at used ones on E-Bay or craigs list. I have a Badger 200 that I don't use but I am not sure I want to sell it. it is my back up. I do love the Aztek !
  22. Badger also makes a goog brush and another is a Aztek made by Testors, they are great because you can change heads so easy and the heads are color coded for the type of head you want.
  23. I did this last year and it worked, and it was REAL good at night= I fished the Tiny Paca craw or the big chunks on a A-Rig and crawl it on the bottom in deep water or outside of weedlines, talk about getting your arm broke!! I fish them on a small Mustad weighted hook and I spread out the arms to make them more flat. It pays to think out side the box and try something different. This is a KILLER!
  24. Rhino,Try the Buckeye Flick-It jig alot less $$$$$$ about half the cost and they fish the same!
  25. For me it has to be a Netbait C-Mac 7 to 15 in. worm or a Trick worm! Both weight-less or pegged with a rubber bobber stop! I have 4 rods set up with weight's and they are set with a 1/8 oz. 1/4oz. 1/2 oz and a 3/4 or 1 oz. to punch down into the thick weeds.and for different fall rates.
